@BuddyThomas , I hope that you and Phil had a very nice Christmas, and received some nice presents.

For us, our Christmas was laid back at home (thank God, no holiday travelling!), and we also had my sister over for dinner here. (I just finished up washing all the extra dishes from yesterday. Once a year, I break out the Christmas pattern, Lenox china. I always hand-wash those.) Glad Christmas is just once a year -- I hate hand-washing plates and cups! ;) )

Thanks for the nice wishes. Sounds like you had a nice holiday. We just stayed around town too. Couldn’t deal with a Philmonster’s road rage this year. Here is our holiday break so far, summed up in a few shots. The deserted theatre is what it looked like when we went to see CATS. Happy holidays everyone!

Merry Christmas to you and the Philmonster Buddy!
So, is the movie version of Cats not as popular as the Broadway show?

84 days until Spring.
It felt like Spring today.

It was 55 degrees as a high today in the part of Wisconsin I live in. Christmas eve and Christmas day was That is not normal winter temperatures in Wisconsin, but more like spring temperatures. It is not going to below 40 degrees before December 30th. It is supposed to be in the mid 50s on Sunday.

The catch is some parts of Wisconsin was not in the 50s today at all including Superior, Wisconsin. There is a section that might as well be called @MinnieM123 's paradise:joyfull:. Superior, Wisconsin is capable of getting lots snow and is usually much colder than the south eastern region of Wisconsin.

Merry Christmas to you too.

The Cats movie is a total and complete bomb but I predict it will become a stoner midnight movie over time. Here are some hysterical reviews:

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas 🎄
I did although my knees did not appreciate handing out gifts with them making noises when I get up. My younger brother and I handed out lots of gifts. What happened with the knees is I did get a quite a bit of gifts and I had to sit down for unwrapping them.

I did get some surprised gifts including tickets for the new Cirque du Soleil show at Disney Springs. Gifts were unwrapped while having a fireplace on youtube with Christmas music without singing.

I had a wonderful Christmas Day dinner. Christmas Dessert was leftovers from Christmas Eve including mini eclairs and mini cream puffs.

I'm sorry the movie was a bomb but you guys both rocked some great fashion and an adult beverage or 2

Wow, those are some awful reviews! I personally didn’t think that the musical would transfer well to film. A big waste of money on Universal’s part.

Yah, I also have zero desire to see Cats in a movie. In the mid-90s, I saw it at the Winter Garden Theater on Broadway. It was a major, live entertainment experience for me. The theater, itself, was decked out in these amazing sets, that I can't even begin to describe. The costumes and makeup were so creative. The actors gave excellent performances.

A movie wouldn't be able to capture the above -- it would just be a movie (of a show). Right, @BuddyThomas ?! :jawdrop:
