Once you cut down on salt, you really can taste how salty food is at restaurants. They could cut down.
Agree, I like salt in moderation but restaurants over do it and french fries I all ways ask to have no salt added. I worked on a shrimp boat in my youth and the captain of the boat would cook dinner and I would cook breakfast. Captain Sonny would use so much salt I kept telling him your going to get a heart attack from all that salt. He just passed away last year 93-- go figure.

If worst comes to worst, can Disney ones be used at the local Disney Store and/or Disneystore online?

They had a trip planned this past November, but my sister-in-law's grandfather passed a couple of days before, so they canceled. I presume they'll reschedule soon-ish. Then each kid has a souvenir budget on a gift card from Uncle Tony. (And I can buy them at a discount from BJ's LOL.)

It does! Most places, including Disney (and the Mexican place we went last night) I have to remember to say "easy on the salt" when I order.
Yes, they can be used anywhere that is owned by Disney. You can actually save 5% on a Disney gift card if you get them at Target, if you have a Target debit or credit card.

I learned that a guest several years ago created his own site called "Magical Trash" which is all about all the different designed trash cans in all of the WDW theme parks. What a cool idea and I will check it out later. Anyone heard of this site?
No, I haven't. WDW should have some table tops placed on trash cans because that is how some people use them. ;)

And if i was stuck somewhere cold i could use the cookies to thaw the ice 😉
You wouldn't need to worry about the lack of salt then, hypothermia would be your focus! So that is just another argument for making sure you have salt in your cookies. 🤔 👍
I am twice your age (scary), and I don't get any aches or pains from the cold. I just get cold hands, and my nose is cold. If it weren't for slippers and socks, my toes would be cold. No, I am NOT a dalmatian:hilarious:!
I'm 3 times older than @StarWarsGirl and also have no cold related aches and pains. I have age related aches and pains. A new one everyday! She must be secretly older then we are!

I get migraines if it rains or snows. So I guess it's not surprising that I start to get random pains from the cold.

I had two car accidents as a teen (neither of which was my fault; they were both hit and runs). Anyway, both of them I had PT, but there's one spot in my back that acts up. Usually it's if my posture's bad, but now the cold seems to bother it.

And then one of my ankles started aching. I'm guessing it's just because I've sprained it so many times in my life.

Anyway, I'm cold.

Well, I haven't been to the gym yet.

Haircut in 2 hours.

Ah, "vacation."

Also, I've done no Christmas shopping. I think all the nieces and nephews are getting Target gift cards. Or maybe Disney ones? They don't go often, but...why not?

For Brian I have no ideas other than maybe a yearly car wash membership thingy. (We're not doing big gifts this year.)

I'm into practical gifts, too. I think your idea of the car wash membership is a great idea!

Unfortunately not. I am a twenty four year old who looks like a twelve year old. Unfortunately. Maybe I'll appreciate that some day. But not today.

The WDW fan community never ceases to amaze me. There's a site or a subforum for everything we could possibly imagine. There are people who keep track of all the various bathroom designs, so I suppose that a site devoted to various trash cans, should be no surprise either! :joyfull:

69 degrees and raining here - and my feet have been cold all day, even with slippers on.

You will. I never thought I would, but now approaching 50, I do. I saw pics from my 30 year high school reunion in NJ the other day, and I should have gone just for that reason. Almost all the other guys (especially the jocks) are already bald and very heavy.

I am gray as all heck, though.

My parents are 59 and 53 and both of them look more like they're in their 40s. So hopefully someday that will be me.

Grey hair can look good. And men wear it better than us women. Totally unfair, fyi.
