Happy to hear that you didn't slip on the steps! Pretty much, all winter I'm assuming there will always be some sort of black ice on steps and walkways, particularly first thing in the morning.

Just had a funny thought about Chia Pets. Can you imagine if someone nowadays, went on Shark Tank to promote this idea -- they'd be laughed out of the tank! :joyfull: Holy cow -- those things dated back to 1977?! Who would have thought?! :hilarious:
Broccoli sprout pets will be the next rage. Maybe I should patent that!

Well, I haven't been to the gym yet.

Haircut in 2 hours.

Ah, "vacation."

Also, I've done no Christmas shopping. I think all the nieces and nephews are getting Target gift cards. Or maybe Disney ones? They don't go often, but...why not?

For Brian I have no ideas other than maybe a yearly car wash membership thingy. (We're not doing big gifts this year.)
I would do Target or Amazon.

If worst comes to worst, can Disney ones be used at the local Disney Store and/or Disneystore online?

They had a trip planned this past November, but my sister-in-law's grandfather passed a couple of days before, so they canceled. I presume they'll reschedule soon-ish. Then each kid has a souvenir budget on a gift card from Uncle Tony. (And I can buy them at a discount from BJ's LOL.)

I don’t use much salt either. I use the pink Himalayan salt. When we go out to eat, food tastes so darn salty.

It does! Most places, including Disney (and the Mexican place we went last night) I have to remember to say "easy on the salt" when I order.

OK, we got our Star Wars tix for 11:15PM on Thursday. Poor Brian will be working from 8AM to 9PM and then at that movie until close to 2AM. oops.

I, on the other hand, will be taking a 75% day off. It's going to be rainy (good for napping) and the stores are more or less on auto-pilot for the rest of the year. We have a few small shipments coming in, which my people can handle, and I'm going to be rewatching the more recent Star Wars flicks and chatting here and hangin' with my puppy. Probably eating too much, too!

Maybe I'll go to the gym...

šŸ˜‚

No, really. Maybe.

Hahaaa...!!! and AWESOME...!!!!!:hilarious:
We’re off at 3p today to go home and get ready for our firms ā€œRoaring 20’sā€ Christmas party in downtown Austin from 6p-9p. We just log our other 3 hours (we usually work ā€˜til 6p Mon.-Thurs. to get our Half-day Fridays) under ā€œEvent - Office Functionā€ so we get paid for those hours too. Half-day Friday tomorrow, and then I’m off all next week...!!!!!!! :joyfull:
Sorry about Brian’s schedule, but, I hope y’all enjoy the movie...!!!:)

The interesting part is a whole lot of the so called "generic" food are made by the same high priced companies and store labeled at a cheaper price. It's called getting every area of the available market. The difference usually is that the profit margin on the non-generics is just higher. I've compared for years and have never found any difference in taste or quantity, at least in canned or bottled items.

Yep, I learned about that years ago too, and have never really noticed any difference either.
