I am really stuck this year with Christmas.

This is a tough age to buy for!!! Especially when your kid still has never touched a few of his Christmas presents from last year.

I don’t know what to do. :(
Get the gifts that he hasn't bothered to use since last year. Re-wrap them and give them again. He probably forgot he even had them. Saves money as well. You're welcome!

He’ll be 10 in April.

Here’s a few things he’s asked for-
Hydro Flask with straw.
Running parachute
Agility ladder
Millennium falcon LEGO set
Diary of a Wimpy Kid books
And a game which I forget the name of right now.*edit* the game is Throw Throw Burrito. I’ve never heard of it, but google says it exists.

That’s it, or at least all that’s realistic The other items were an “epic home gym (with a rock wall)”. Fitbit. iPhone 11 Pro. ANW course.
He’s not getting any of these. The only one I considered was the ANW course, but I don’t have properly spaced trees for it.
No idea what the rage is with the hydroflask. My kids don't give a darn about them, but a lot of the kids at the gym have one. Luckily youngest is quite happy with her water bottle. That Millenium Falcon costs a pretty penny, but the other stuff isn't terrible. Luckily ds didn't ask for any Lego this year. The last Lego Star Wars we got him ,R2D2, ended up being taken apart for "other projects." 🙄 Dh got him a Y- Wing Fighter to put together when he was about 11. Yeah, that ended up in pieces. For dh's bday this year, he put it back together for him. He found the instructions, and for pieces he couldn't find, he just used different colors.

He’ll get everything on that list, but it’s only 6 items!!! My parents, sister, brother, best friend, and myself and Santa all give him presents- which isn’t many people compared to other kids who have 2 sides of a family.., and still there’s not enough on his list to cover all of us.
At our house the presents under the tree are all his- from me and Santa, not the others mentioned above. As of now we’re going to have a pathetic looking tree on Christmas morning. I’m just going to start wandering through stores trying to find good ideas.

Remember it is not the amount of gifts that T is going to care about. Don’t go nuts. I used to do that and would buy more than what they asked for. I ended up having plenty of unopened boxes of toys. Those toys were my supplementary toys. I still have them in my basement untouched in a small play area we have down there. They had been seen plenty of times and are still unopened. Just get the doable things on the list he requested.
