The first snowfall of the season for most New Englander's is going to be a bust for us. 1 to 3 inches of snow. A mostly rain event for us. If there is white stuff on the ground tomorrow morning, I will be surprised.

Bummer for you. I think we're in the 6-8 inches category. Not the best as a foot or anything, but for the first snowfall of the season, I'll take it!!

Our current weather... with tomorrow mornings low... :coldfeet::cold::bored:;)

We were at 82 today, same forecast for tomorrow, but tomorrow night goes down to 48. Then we gradually warm up all week (highs in the 70's except 67 on Tuesday.)

Brian's bday is Tuesday. I started looking around for places to go, but I don't think anywhere is better than here right now!

And I'm last minute planning because he has only had Mondays off for the past couple of months. This week, he has Monday & Tuesday, and I just found out yesterday LOL.

Side note: he may be giving notice on Monday to the crazy guy. There is a definite offer on the table (same money, fewer hours, less aggravation - still no benefits, but I'll take the win) and an interview on Monday as well.

So he may end up having the better part of the week off (a lot of times in restaurant/retail, when you give notice, they say thank you but no thank you, and give me the keys.) But there's still really nowhere to go. I put in an inquiry for Marathon Key, but their weather will be the same as here. Kind of pointless.

Back up plan: Morton's Steakhouse? Never been, but heard good things.

Also: I have no idea what the heck dog food to get anymore! Kylie is almost out of her Rachel Ray nutrish grain free that we've been getting for the last couple of years, but I read this the other day:

https://abcnews.go.com/US/fda-warns-dry-dog-foods-linked-canine-heart/story?id=64017754

And although it's at the bottom of the list, it's on the list of dog foods causing heart disease in dogs.

Even very expensive Blue Buffalo was pretty high on the list.

I just read some current reviews on Morton's (Boston), and it's still very highly rated. I also know that Zagats often references their locations around the country. (They're pricey, but for great steaks and an upscale experience, go for it.)

Wishing the best for Brian. I hope he can get a better job without a crazy person for a boss. There's nothing worse than that. Work takes enough out of you as it is, without dealing with a nutcase boss.

Dogs are different, just like people. My dog does well with 1/2 Nature's Recipe (salmon); and 1/2 regular Pedigree for adult dogs. (We mix them together.) He chows it down! :joyfull:

I didn't see either one on the list in the article you shared.

And, my cardiologists son, Justin Tucker, does it again for the Ravens...!!!!!!! :joyfull:
Somehow we didn’t get the game even though it would be considered a home game for us. We did get the Steelers game which made dh happy. The fact that they won made him happier. Nail biter towards the end.
