I had one a while back. It was supposedly from Bill Gates. It asked me to look him up on Wikipedia if I wasn't familiar with him. That one got a sarcastic response back.
The news was on at one of my steps house's and she asked when a pic of him came on the screen, Who's that ugly geek?:eek:The news came on after some movie, she never watches news, too nerdy:cautious:

Solved my problem of no leftovers from Thanksgiving. A local store had BoGo turkey chests on sale. They also had regular turkeys for super cheap, and I could have gotten 5 lbs more for the same price with one big turkey, but decided I would rather have 2 meals and ultimately be able to cook each in the instant pot instead of one meal with tons of leftovers.

I was watching a Hallmark movie yesterday and it was supposed to be set in Minneapolis in December. Yet in the movie all the trees were still green and leafy and the grass that didn't have the fake snow on it was still very green. I laughed, I've lived in this area all my life and trees are never green and leafy in December. Oh well, I guess it makes the scenery look better for the movie, I guess bare trees with dirty slushy snow aren't good for movies.😃
Theres a few scenes in the movie they shot (I dont remember what it is, this was about 5 years ago) where people have coats/hats/gloves on even though it was supposed to be summer.

So the local city art exhibit went very well today. We had a few thousand people come through, during the 4 hours. (Not to mention all the cops, firemen, ambulance drivers, and public works dept. guys, who'd come in from the outside to get warm. (There was a really harsh wind chill out today so it felt more like 15 degrees all day.)

We also offered hot apple cider and Christmas cookies for the public. (It was a toss-up who could chow down more cookies -- the ambulance driver guys, or the cops! :hilarious: )

We sold a bunch of raffle tickets, and some of the individual artwork, including one of the higher priced paintings ($850.00). All in all, the day was a success!

So you had a perfect day. Cold weather and a successful art show. ;)

What happened?
Holidays. Extended family. Some parents just can’t let go and allow their adult children to fly.

Millennials take a lot of heat but it is many Boomers that just want to micro their young adults. Scratch head and wonder if they feel they failed the first 18 years of their life that they just can’t let them experience life.

Weird week of controlling Boomers is all. Nothing that Disney won’t cure :inlove:

Sweatshirt crisis (first world problem) averted, sort of anyways. I noticed that Shop Disney had the sweatshirt in a women’s large. Well, it is a sweatshirt, and it will shrink in the dryer, right? She has a medium zip up Disney hoodie already. I also remembered that I have $38 in unused Disney gift cards. So, I ordered it. I thought of waiting for Cyber Monday to see if they would offer free shipping, but didn’t want to chance losing the size. It only cost another $11 after the gift card, so I am okay with having to pay shipping.

First of all, a lot of people (including kids), rather like oversized sweatshirts. But I was thinking that if you thought it really looked a bit too large for her (the dryer will only shrink a bit), could you take in each of the side seams a little, on your sewing machine? That small adjustment might make a big difference.
