@BuddyThomas , I saw a few performances this morning on TV (in front of Macy's during the parade) from a few Broadway shows. There's two musicals that look awesome -- one about the Temptations (Ain't Too Proud), and one about Tina Turner.

Another musical play, Hadestown, also looked very good (not familiar with the storyline, but certainly some talented singers and actors - a lot of high energy). I imagine theater must be booming now, with all the holiday crowds in Midtown. :)

Hadestown is amazing. It won Best Musical at this year’s Tonys.

I liked the Temptation and Tina Turner one as well. I missed Chicago’s performance somehow. :(
On another note I scored an amazing deal on a pair of boots for my youngest. She is having a problem getting hers on, and the hand me down pair is 2 sizes too big. Found a great deal on QVC. Never shopped on it before but they had a welcome offer of $15 off. The boots were also discounted. So for $22 I got her a pair of fuzzy lined boots. They are the Koolaburra by Ugg brand. Shipping was free too.

I did a part of the Thanksgiving dinner some my younger brother was working. While work ended at 2:15 p.m., some of the stuff had to be done already before younger brother came from work.

I helped my dad. I did an important part of Sweet potato casserole with marshmallows. The Sweet Potato casserole with marshmallows was done in a slow cooker. My job was to mash the canned Sweet Potatoes in a bowl into another bowl before putting it in the slow cooker.

I was my dad's assistant for the turkey. I had to give my dad a bowl of cut apple, cut oranges, and cut lemons for stuff the turkey. My job also was to keep the turkey bag open for my dad putting the turkey in the bag.

I was an assistant for the stuffing. My job was to give dad the ingredients that were in bowls and containers. The Stuffing was not put into the bird, but it was put into oblong baking dish instead.

My mom had Pumpkin pie the day before. She also made Mashed potatoes, peas and carrots and gravy. The Hawaiian rolls was the last thing put in the oven.

@Tony the Tigger , how was your Thanksgiving day today? Did you and Brian have a nice meal and do something relaxing? (Or, did Brian have to work today? I hope not.)

Like you, we went out for dinner (early) with B’s Dad and cousin. We went to a French place that is always good. B & Dad had the turkey special. Cousin and I had lamb.

Everything was good! Didn’t quite feel like Thanksgiving, but I’ll take it. I worked both before and after. I miss B’s usual leftovers (he makes a mean Butterball.) So I’m going to eat again now, take something to help me sleep, and get to the first store around 7:30AM to open at 8.

Did get a Roku Ultra on Amazon last night as part of the black friday sale.

I will be out on Black Friday tomorrow, but only for one store with it being a small business that specializes in video games and vintage Collectibles. It has a 99 percent completed nes completed video game collection with each game 20 percent off and another over a 1,000 more video games 20 percent off too. It is a first come, first serve sale.

The good news is the store has its normal working hours and this is a store that does not open in the morning.
