This isn't fair! I'm very organized just am not quite as concerned about getting it all done in July. That's my birthday month and I want all the attention to be focused on gifts to be given to me. In fact, hear me out, I am probably more organized because I can get it all done in less then a month where it takes others half a year or more. Then up until mid November, I can just play golf with no outside distractions. So I think that in the case above, the word "Organized" should be change to OCD. 😎😏🤭

I did score 2 good deals yesterday at Target. They were offering 25% off one toy, plus I had a $5 off coupon they sent in the mail. So I took care of 2 presents for my 12 and 8 year old. 8 year old wanted a Wheelchair Barbie. I have no idea why. Any that was less than $30 for the two. Also my 12 year old’s list was quite sparse. She actually only asked for 3 things on her list. She told Santa that she knows he has to travel the world and give presents to all the kids and that is a lot of work. She doesn’t know what she wants so she only wants 3 things. Two items were some small sets for a doll house, and the last request was for Lindt chocolate. She asked for things that in total (the toys) are $23 in total. On the other hand my 8 year olds list is closer to a $300 request! Either my 12 year old knows there is no Santa and doesn’t want us to spend a lot of money, or she is really satisfied with what she has. Either way, it almost made me cry reading her letter. She is really a little sweetheart.
My memories seems to go back a long, long way. I remember clearly when I was 4 years old. (I know the age because I remember where we were living at the time and that was how old I was then) My Mother handed me a Sears Christmas catalog and I went crazy. I even remember thinking that if I make a big, big list, I won't get it all, but, I'll get more then if I just settle on a few things. There was no limit to my greed at the time. At the time I was an only child and the favorite of my grandparents and all of my Fathers six brothers and sisters. To my joy (and a little shock) between all of them, I got every item on the list.

All that fun was killed off a couple of years later when my sister was born. That ended it all. Sharing was not one of my stronger traits. ☹

I found out I will be helping Dad putting up Christmas decorations in the house before Thanksgiving with me helping late next week. My dad explained it is due to how late Thanksgiving is this year and him wanting to do the outdoor decorations after Thanksgiving.

My dad does need a 2nd person. His knees seen their better days and it is not all due to his weight either. A lot of people from his work got problems with their knees or the upper body due to the wear and tear the work does to the body.

My dad puts up decorations that needs a step stool. Step Stool is not good on knees for climbing. The Step Stool is used more than the Artificial Christmas tree for decorations.
