I meant the temperature actually. My high school years were in the 80’s.

I was in high school in the mid-60's. I was a sophomore when Kennedy was assassinated. Man, I'm old. I had a great Grandfather that was killed in the Civil War, one Grandfather the was in the Spanish American War and another Grandfather was in WWI, my Father plus an Uncle served during WWII, another Uncle served in Korea and I managed to participate in the Vietnam War. I know that has nothing to do with the topic I am quoting but, it conjured up a pile of memories and my fingers just went crazy. Back to the regularly scheduled posting. Sorry!

What a crappy day today.... DH woke up with horrible arm pain.... which is scary, because the first thing you think of is heart attack. He said it felt like contractions though. Took him to the ER, and they quickly diagnosed that it was NOT a heart attack, but it was getting worse and he was starting to have shooting pains in his legs. (this happens with his type of backpain, but I think it was worse because he was anxious, hadn't slept and was in pain. )

They took labs and decided one of the problems might be that his magnesium was low, so they put him on a magnesium drip for 2 hours... and they gave him a shot of muscle relaxer to help things calm down.

2 hours later he was finally falling asleep in between stupid alarms going off... and I knew his pain was lessening. We are home now... and he's sleeping.... we honestly think it was nerves in his back causing the pain... but the ER isn't there to diagnose, only get some pain relief and send you back to your own doc.

No pain relievers for Scott because he's already go to see a pain management doctor... so they don't ever want to mess with that.

Anyway... just venting a bit... Even though I slept all night these events always make me so tired.

Oh my, I hope he is feeling better now and I hope you get some decent sleep too.

Oh my, I hope he is feeling better now and I hope you get some decent sleep too.

The muscle relaxer shot is wearing off and his pain is creepying up again. I hope to keep on top of the pain meds tonight so we don't have a repeat episode of today.

He had a failed back surgery about 5 years ago... which is why he is disabled. I'm the one that suffers from Sciatic ... I do stretches in bed almost nightly to keep that at bay.

I'm going to try to keep up on his pain meds tonight so that we don't have a repeat in the morning.

Well my day sucked. My credit card bill, rent check, AND my tuition check went through all within an hour of each other. When I checked my bank in the morning it said I had $639 when I got a "Low balance" email it said I has $58. And I get paid on Wednesday. To top it all off, my hours got cut from 36 to 15. Not sure if this is just for this week or if its permanent

We went a few years ago for a DVC event. It was awesome.

We went to one of the DVC nights at MK this year. It was FANTASTIC. Five minute wait for Space Mountain. Special fireworks. It was so, so great.

Ive done both MK Private event and Epcot. Both awesome. Typhoon Lagoon I so agree a great private event. The lighting does it.

Wow. I am a morning person. I am usually up by 5:30am. Of course I am in bed by 9-9:30pm

They cut 21 hours from your work week?! Most people could not live off a paycheck of 15 hours -- I hope you can talk to your manager asap, and get this straightened out. Good luck to you.

So I woke up to find an email from paypal saying we were charged $953 from Facebook. Said it was an automatic payment????? Um what???? I didn't set up any auto pay. Our paypal is through our personal account. So I went to paypal and lo and behold there was in the auto pay section Facebook in there with an auto pay. I didn't do that. I clicked the turn off auto pay for it and then changed my paypal password. I called my bank and then told them I didn't authorize that charge. Luckily the charge hadn't come in from Paypal. I then clicked into paypal's dispute form and filled it out. They also had a direct link for the seller. It brought me to facebook and a form to fill out. I filled it out and said that the charges that we were charged were unauthorized. Then I get within 2 seconds an auto reply stating why the account was billed. It then had 5 faces from happy to sad and asked how I felt about the response. I clicked angry of course and then saw another thing to click that said to reopen the case. I then wrote what the problem was again and sent the reply. I am guessing this one goes to an actual person. Then I saw as I was searching through payments that our personal paypal was indeed listed as a payment method. It had been there since 2014. So, when the debit card was canceled and the payments weren't going through, fb went to the next payment method to charge the account. Hoping this gets resolved because this is just unreal. Then I looked at the history. The previous 90 days we had ads (boosted posts) totalling $16. Anyone see the problem here? Canceling the fb account for the business after this is done.

Here is my random post for the day.
In my house, Kraft Mac and Cheese has been replaced by an organic competitor.

We got one box of this brand to try when we were there in August, and we bought several boxes of the Kraft thick and creamy. We didn't care for the Annie's. It was ok, but not nearly as good as the Thick and Creamy from craft...though we haven't had the regular craft kind in ages....that probably makes a difference. (by we, I mean E and I. DH thinks that mac 'n' cheese or anything with "American" cheese tastes like plastic, and A won't eat mac 'n' cheese.)

Thanks for asking... when I woke him up this morning to give him pain meds, he said he had slept well and that the pain in his arm was gone. Personally I think he irritated some nerves in his back when he tried to do too much on Wednesday. I was rubbing some pain lotion on his back and I was literally barely touching him and he was going thru the roof yesterday. This morning, he did not... so I think things are calming down... just going to keep him on rotating meds for a few days to keep pain at bay.. because once pain escalates, it's very hard to get it back under control.

Sorry that was probably too much information... I should have just said, "he says he's feeling better"
