I watched it mostly over the summer on Prime. I was really enjoying it. DH came down to see what I was watching, and he got hooked, too. By the time I was starting the last season's worth, I was upset it would be over, and started drawing it out. And then I found out about the movie! Tuesday night!No, they are NOT the same!!
I do enjoy both series.. especially when Rufus Sewell was on Victoria (I’ve always been a fan of his).., but IMO, NOTHING will ever compare to Downton Abbey. Amazing casting, good clean show.. great writing. It may be the only tv show that I made a point to watch when it aired instead of recording to watch later.
Anyway, this is totally my opinions.
DD's school ended up on lock down. No one knew what was going on.

Something either got on the line like a squirrel to make it flicker. Or they had to kill the power to change something over and put online.Power went out for less than a minute while baking dutch apple pie. The degrees of the oven needed to be reset. The oven was not the only thing that lost power. It happened to computer, Microwave and tv.
The timer of the stove was not used. Used an electrical timer that uses batteries for keeping attract of time instead.

I grew up in NY as you probably remember, and I remember hearing my family say NJ drivers were the worst. When I lived in NJ, we would say PA drivers were the worst. Well, now I am in PA. NY, NJ, and MD drivers are the worst!
