So it was already gone then. You just had received a cut that made it still feel painful. Hope the elixir helps. Darn pizza crust.

Thank God you are o..k.!! :) What a bizarre thing to happen, and talk about bad timing on top of it. Take care of yourself. Too bad the elixir tastes horrible though, but it will make you feel better.

My mother told me to always sufficiently chew food. and never to eat in a rush. She had a friend who was driving to work one morning, and he had stopped at a red light. A police car pulled up beside him and an officer glanced over to his window. He immediately put on the siren and told the guy to pull over. Cop went over to the car and asked the man if he was o.k. as he was starting to look a bit blue in the face! Called an ambulance to take him to the hospital. Turned out the man had quickly grabbed some toast on his way out to work that morning, and a chunk of it got stuck somewhere in his throat, and started to block his airway!! :jawdrop:

I do hope that those ships will be competitive with the other lines, as far as activities go.

Right now I look at Disney ships, and seriously, what is there to do- together? The pool and slide, sure, mini golf.. but that’s about it. The new ships will hopefully have rock climbing or a ropes course or something like that.

One thing I really like about NCL is the “family activity” time. The cruise director would host.. every day was something different, dodgeball on the sports deck.. Just Dance on the large screen in the atrium...circus school..painting..karaoke..etc.
I can’t find anything like that on the current DCL ships.

Yeah. That’s what I’ve concluded. I keep trying to talk myself into it, he’s asking to go. But..T does not want to spend a lot of time in a kid’s club, nor do I want him to spend the bulk of his time there.
I showed him the photos and list of activities last night, he said “You’re right, I would rather do a different ship.”

I shouldn’t have let a 6 year old make the determination for our 2016 vacation. 🤦‍♀️ He would have lived DCL then.
It is what it is though. Oh well.
