I also hesitated when I read that her battery died "conveniently" when she was in the repair shop. Certainly better to have it die there and get replaced asap, unless . . . it wasn't. If you're not a mechanic like most of us, it's a carp shoot at times, if you have no experience with a particular repair shop.
Very true. I should have added to my comment that we have a battery tester at home. Dh’s battery needed a jump start at home back in the winter. He used my car to jump start it. Then he bought a tester from Walmart and tested both our batteries. Mine showed that it was low, but I thought it was weird since the gauges on the car were fine when I drove. I had noticed the previous few days before I went to the dealer that the car didn’t sound right when it started. It has a push button start so it should start right away. It kind of sounded like it was struggling to start. I thought that it was because it was overdo for an oil change. The oil life was down to zero because of our recent drive down and back to Florida. Pretty sure I wasn’t scammed. It starts up great now.

Last night we pulled a switcheroo on our waitress (we're part of her Friday night "regulars" for the past 10 years). Since we knew a week ago, that she'd be on vacation this week, some of the other regulars and us, asked her if we could take her out out to dinner as our guests (at another restaurant)! We all had a blast, and it was great to see her just relax and have dinner, without running around servicing multiple tables for a change!

She told us that none of her customers had ever offered to take her out before. Made me pause, to think that life is too short and if there are people you like, you might want to let them know sooner, as opposed to later.

That is one of the kindest gestures I ever read! ❤️

If you're up now, how is your throat? Did you go to urgent care?

It's still in there :( and now my throat is super sore. The urgent care opens in a couple hours. After a pancake breakfast, I'll go in.

Was really hoping this would resolve itself though 😂😂 i tried a soda (which i haven't had one for over a year), bread, and everything else i saw on Google. All the websites said if you can't get it out with the at home remedies, to go in and be seen so it doesn't cause a perforation

I am so sorry. You don’t have an ER nearby?

What in the world did you get stuck in there? Popcorn kernels and pieces of peanut are what get me.
