Rite Aid used to be on every corner in my town, most of them went belly up. Some have been torn down and others are just empty buildings with signless walls. They left a few, but at least 75% of them are gone in this area. Maybe more. It was a war around here. One Corner Walgreens, across the road to the other corner a CVS and a Rite Aid on the third corner lot. Then everything duplicated in every chain variety store in the state. Walmart, Harris Teater (Groc.), Target and Lowes (Groc.) not to mention the privately owned pharmacy's around the area. Good grief there is a drug store for every person in the town. Ok, a minor exaggeration, but, I was always wondering what was keeping those places open. There is so much competition and they are far from the least expensive ones. Rite Aid was the first fatality or, at least, the first to cut bait and run.
Funny...the Rite Aid near us closed recently.

It's now a
Walgreens

You guys know what you want to eat 6 months ahead of your trip?! 😮 (I don't know what I want for dinner tonight,, let alone what I want to eat six months from now!) :hilarious:

There are a few place at WDW that we keep bringing up in conversation and we know that those are a must when we go again. So we figured the booking window opened today we might as well lock it down. We will be there over a week and we just booked a few things, things will probably change as it gets closer.

That problem would be cutdown due to Smithfield's promotion called Smithfield Racin' For Bacon.

The big question would be where to store the 100,000 slices of Smithfield bacon if the NASCAR driver Aric Almirola somehow wins and you are one of the 10 people to win that amount of bacon.

That is a lot of BLT sandwiches and other stuff besides breakfast.

Hey @figmentfan423 , you'll love this! Community center in my area is offering free sewing lessons in October and I signed up. (Can you believe it? :joyfull: ) I think they teach you how to make an apron. So with a limited retirement budget, I could sew aprons for Christmas gifts. "Merry Christmas, I'm on Social Security, have an apron." :hilarious:

I think it would be a lot better if they taught you how to make dog jackets instead, because no one wears aprons anymore . . . LOL. :p
My MIL was over a few weekends ago. She was about to cut up watermelon, and asked if I had an apron she could borrow. I am pretty sure I know what I will be getting for a holiday gift, or my next birthday.:p

I can pick six months in advance because it doesn't matter; I never know what I want to eat.

One time back in college, when my family was away, I had dinner at midnight because it took me that long to figure out what I wanted.

If you put something I like in front of me, though, I'll eat it without complaint.

My ride for the weekend 😶

View attachment 406742

The only thing that remotely intrigues me about that “vehicle” ;) is the yellow-ish tinted headlight lenses...can’t stand the friggin’ blue-ish tint on too many newer cars here in the States these days...warmer light is much easier on my eyes...!!! :)

ETA...
Also, looks like that front bumper is a slightly different color than the rest of it, and the right front wheel’s been scrapin’ curbs or somethin’...how long did ya’ have the thing before ya’ took the pic...?! :cyclops::D:hilarious:;):)
