I think that is excellent! Cannot wait to see the picture of your apron.

Hopefully, by the time the classes roll around, they'll come up with something else to teach us. (I did sew years ago, but I forget most of the steps. So these classes would be a good refresher, so to speak. Also, my sewing machine at home hasn't been used in over 15 years, so it would need a repair shop tuneup. It was kept in a somewhat damp place in a box, so I'm not even sure if it's still o.k. to use -- will have to check with a sewing machine repair tech.)

I read yesterday that okra tastes better roasted and isn’t slimy that way.

Thank you for the okra tip, but I just can't bring myself . . . :p

I thought I had found all the Walgreens near work. There were three within a five minute drive.

I was wrong. I found a fourth one. :cautious: Are they trying to put them on every block or something?
I witnessed something similar with it being Gamestop instead of walgreens a quite a few years ago and this was back when Gamestop was a profitable video game chain that had over 7,500 stores worldwide compare to have less than 6,000 now.

Gamestop at the time had 2 shops in the mall and another 2 shops less than 5 minutes away from the mall. That chain now only has 2 stores in that area instead of 4.

The thing was Gamestop was known for having too many shops in a short distance besides the area in question.

Lots of establishments do that. I think that Walgreens bought out one drug store chain and that may be why there are so many.

Rite Aid used to be on every corner in my town, most of them went belly up. Some have been torn down and others are just empty buildings with signless walls. They left a few, but at least 75% of them are gone in this area. Maybe more. It was a war around here. One Corner Walgreens, across the road to the other corner a CVS and a Rite Aid on the third corner lot. Then everything duplicated in every chain variety store in the state. Walmart, Harris Teater (Groc.), Target and Lowes (Groc.) not to mention the privately owned pharmacy's around the area. Good grief there is a drug store for every person in the town. Ok, a minor exaggeration, but, I was always wondering what was keeping those places open. There is so much competition and they are far from the least expensive ones. Rite Aid was the first fatality or, at least, the first to cut bait and run.

You guys know what you want to eat 6 months ahead of your trip?! 😮 (I don't know what I want for dinner tonight,, let alone what I want to eat six months from now!) :hilarious:
I'm going soon, but, have made only one reservation and that was more curiosity then out and out food desire. I was able to get a breakfast ressie for "Be our guest" on a Extra hours morning of all things. Less then 30 days out.
