It's a 60th special. So it'll likely be park history, info about the anniversary (which will clearly still be happening at this point)

They likely want to air in February to remind people there is still a celebration and to come on out.

That's true. I got excited thinking they would be airing live next week lol, oh well.

The castle banners have been swapped with lighter colors. Looks much better.

A great example of why Disney projects cost so much.

World Of Color Cast Member previews are cancelled.

"To ensure "World of Color - Celebrate!" is ready to dazzle when it debuts, the Diamond Celebration Cast Preview of the rehearsal scheduled for 10:30 p.m. on May 19 has been cancelled. Disneyland Resort Cast Members and West Coast Imagineers may still enjoy the rehearsals of the "Paint the Night" parade at 8:45 p.m. and "Disneyland Forever" Fireworks Spectacular at 9:30 p.m. on May 19 in Disneyland Park."

Did Bob Iger watch and demand a list of changes like he did for the original WOC?
Or do you think the teams just not happy yet and wants to work a bit more on it?

I'm not worried.......yet. Since the next night is WOC-C!'s party, I'm guessing they need to be 100% ready for that. If Forever and PTN gets cancelled, or any of the Media nights, then we should be worried.

Could be a bit of both.
A few pages back there was some footage of an early test of the Gaurdians of the Galaxy segment and it looked pretty lame.

So this is pretty weird, I grant that. But does anyone want to go to the 24 hour thing with me?

Endor, if i was in town that week i would totally take you up on that offer.
Alas, i am currently 24000 miles (or more) away from Disneyland...but only physically, mind you.
My thought process is most certainly still there in that environment.

14 weeks from now....well, reverse the above.
A different story.

I am wondering if perhaps the reason they were changed was that the darken blues in the wraps were interfering with the projection effects being used on the Castle in * DL Forever*.

Perhaps after the recent tests it was felt a lighter color was needed to help it *dissapear* more during the projective element sections ?

Whatever the reason for the change, i like the lighter blues.
