The 60th Anniversary of Disneyland: The Reality of it All

Disney has asked everyone who has seen the film to refrain from posting any reactions online until the 16th or 17th (not sure which).

Does that include your experience with the premiere itself (not the film or the plot, but the premiere activities)? I see the video above, but just wondering if you can talk about your experience in the fun of a premiere at DL?

I also wonder where exactly did they show the premiere? Does DL have Galaxy stage like WDW does? Was it shown there, or in the EO theatre or where?

Yup totally normal that's why review tend to all show up on the same day. They get to see the movie or show early with the promise they don't publish anything about it until the agreed upon date.

The sneak peak has been in the EO theater for a couple weeks, the actual premiere was at the AMC theaters in Downtown Disney.

I was already excited for Tomorrowland but after seeing the sneak peak on Friday it has gone to the top 3 of my must see list, along with Jurassic World and Star Wars.

Anyone attend the premiere? Any reports? I did a quick search on the Animation, Movies, TV forum and here and found nothing.

I would love a report from the Tomorrowland premiere.

I didn't attend. I haven't attended a premiere since Tangled. I like to avoid the ones at the DLR, and if I'm not actually invited to the premiere, I don't show up. There are always way too many people.

I am friendly with someone who attended, and based on a few photos they shared it was a good time.
As already mentioned, the showing was at the AMC located at DTD.

Folks who attended were given a card that had a reproduction of the *T* Tomorrowland logo pin seen in the film, and it was their ticket into the after party that took place later on at DL*s Tomorrowland.
Attendees also had special access to *It*s a Small World* during the after party as well, which makes thematic sense as it plays a key role in the film.

Mickey appeared at the after party posing for photos while wearing what looked to be a special film-related space suit. Blue, silver, and orange.
He looked sharp!

Here is a familiar face to Disneylanders who was also at the Premiere -

I never see these events on DPB on time. They're always full by the time I see them online.

I wonder if these premiers will be live broadcasted? WOC is the 20th and PTN and Forever are the 21st so I'm thinking it could be very possible! Fingers crossed! :)

Hopefully Pics and Videos will be allowed. I think it's more likely a fan site would do it. The last stream DLR did was WOC. DIS I believe did Winter Dreams 2013 and FOF.

The castle banners have been swapped with lighter colors. Looks much better.
