From DPB:

First, aDisneyland park favorite is about to get even better as new effects are being added to Matterhorn Bobsleds. Just wait until you see the Abominable Snowman in ways you’ve never seen him before when the attraction reopens in May!

Also reopening in May is Peter Pan’s Flight, featuring a reimagined nursery scene and a variety of special effects that will make this classic and beloved attraction come to life in new ways.

Marvel is not a tag, it's in the show. The show isn't a DLR retrospective, it's about Disney in general...and like it or not, Marvel is part of the Disney family now and it makes BILLIONS annually. WDW will remain a mostly Marvel free zone, but DLR won't. It's inevitable.

A few years ago the plan was for a mind-blowing Iron Man E Ticket to open this May to replace Innoventions. I wish that had happened.

And wow, could they have used less exciting language on that DPB post about Matterhorn and Peter Pan?

I wonder if new Harold will be a replacement of the old aa or a new scene altogether in a new location. The way it is now you whiz by so fast that you miss him if you blink.

In case it hasn’t been posted yet, the schedule is up through the 21st now. Disneyland closes at 6:00 on the 21st, presumably for a media event. Various weeknights in April and May DL closes at 7:30.

Pan’s first date off the refurb calendar is the 21st, Matterhorn the 16th.

Yup, media event on the 21st. Early closings on other nights are likely due to Disneyland Forever rehearsals - WOC and PTN can rehearse in the middle of the night.

Interesting. I don't remember multiple early closings for rehearsals of the 50th Fireworks in May, 2005. This new show must be quite a thing.

I'm thinking Harold will appear on the lift hill, and at the top of the lift where the 1978 scary eyes appear. I'm betting it's a projection effect, before you encounter the three animatronic Harolds later in the ride.

I have a feeling Disneyland Forever is going to be the breakout hit of the 60th. All three shows are going to be incredible, but I think Forever is going to be really special.

I certainly hope so. From what was said at the event back in February, it seemed like it was going to be tied to more animation/films than Disneyland itself. But yeah, lots of potential.

Personally, I'm more excited for World of Color... pending Marvel involvement or not. hahah.

Excited about Peter Pan, but I still want Toad 3.0!
I want DL's Toad to be WDW's Toad....

I'm not seeing any information for May 21 on the Disneyland calendar...nothing comes up as far as hours and such, unless everyone's talking about April 21 on which day there's no early closing.

Interesting. Thanks for the link.

I'm distrusting of some of the details on the daily page, though. On 5/20, DCA closes at 6pm, but there's still a World of Color scheduled for 9pm. I suspect that one of those times is wrong. Likewise, much of the other entertainment seems out of sorts with a 6pm closing.

What I'm terribly interested in is the schedule for 5/21. I *KNOW* it's open 6am-6am for the 24 hour event. But what I want to know is what time to expect Paint the Night, Fantasmic, etc, etc. And how many shows of each. Given the odd entertainment times for DCA on 5/20, I'm distrustful of anything that the old calendar might show tomorrow.
