So, it's been almost a month now... environment chamber effects still seem to not be fully working. Your car still does not upload to the ride, and everything in the post show is very glitchy. Seems like this stuff should have been fixed by now? I get the sense the ride was not ready for the December 6th deadline but was forced to open anyway. Question is, will they finish it?

Also, the post-show activities' graphics are about the level of Nintendo 64.

The ONLY detail in the environmental chamber that is not working is piping in a bit more fog in the Eco-Scan scene.

As for the car not uploading completely....that's still very much a work-in-progress and it's quite tempermental. Sometimes it works for a few hours, sometimes it doesn't. A reboot is required to get it back online and since December has been busy all the time, we just can't stop things where they are in terms of loading just to get the scanners working. Me and a whole lot of other folks would love to but unfortunately no. WDI has already said upgrades/changes to the system is coming after the first of the year (especially to the vehicle design UI) so new things will be coming soon. Since soft openings, WDI has used everything with how guests are as a public test and adjust of sorts. They ARE reading these forums and people's comments. They're taking everything into account as they further the design programs. The month of December was basically a ton of stress testing via usage out in the field and working to get the system stable.

It was funny though....WDI said in the very beginning that 9 minute shows were to be extremely rare and that the Design Studios would be infalliable....ha...ha...ha.

The 'What's Your Score?' section has been under constant revision since opening. That one is one of the few things that they couldn't get right in the planning stages until they finished it completely. Even then, certain details that did work before to an extent aren't. The most important part (showing your vehicle and it's score) has always been reliable though.

In terms of the postshow itself....the biggest issue is with the 'Give It a Spin' section. That was a section WDI wanted to work on more and had a lot more things to figure out with but Chevy forced it open. As a result, only one of the two 'gaming stages' are complete (for you gamers out there, the only mode available is the racing mode, the other is meant to be a sandbox type mode) and most of the time only 1 of the three driving tables are actually open for use.

So will it be finished? Absolutely. As far as WDI is concerned, TT is still an open case.

Very professional, I must say.

I really enjoyed Tron Track, although none of the interactive aspects were working when I rode. But it seems very skewed to males. All my male friends like or love it, all my female friends largely dislike or strongly dislike it.

I also heard that it was rating very low with guests in surveys, but that could be because it seems to be down every day (no different than its predecessor) and those interactive aspects are problematic.

Food and Wine really helps drive attendance to Epcot up or else it wouldn't be #2.. it isn't #2 because the park is great or anything... Quality of Epcot has truly slipped... If Food and Wine was eliminated, Epcot wouldn't be #2 anymore...

Not sure about that.
Even during the rest of the operating year, EPCOT has better restaurants and shops than any other park out there.
Not that it makes sense to spend money to get in so that you can spend money, but...

Now thats interesting to hear. Curious to see how that will be digested if that trend continues, both from Disney and GMs perspective.

Well at least they're not focusing on interactivity to the tune of $1.5 billion, otherwise broken interactive components would be a big deal.

In that case, add some appropriate, upbeat music on the exterior section. And if you can't add more theming than paint on the road, at least get rid of the mid90s lamposts for something a bit more futuristic!

On the topic of music, I have to say, I very much enjoy the atmospheric music inside the queue. I'd buy it on iTunes if it were available...

And the best part is, I don't leave the queue with the desire to down a bottle of Excedrin. :D

I miss the extreme heat and cold section in the environmental portion of the ride. Any chance of a variation of that returning?
