How does this sound as a basic outline?
One of our main critiques from the first round was feeling a bit disjointed and like each section was too different. We still won, so it wasn't too big of a problem lol. But I figured getting more of an outline set up might help us. Especially if we want to go heavier on the art and maybe do a video.
Yes.

I was proud of that one lol. It might be a step too far, so no worries if it gets cut. But there is a nearly 20 minute long compilation just of Bill Clinton jokes from Pinky and the Brain I listened to yesterday while cleaning yesterday lol
It's one of those "the adults will get it but the kids won't" so I would leave it in.

Space-wise, it is tight, but I can see us getting just over half an acre replacing the Animal Actors Stage.

We could play off a simple facade (movie theatre?) and a small queue in favour of a virutal queue (Secret Life of Pets attraction is supposed to be like this when it opens) so that a majority of that space is the attraction.

Perfect! Nice and simple, a small virtual queue could work great to save room! We could even have the small actual queue be done in "rooms" rather than a traditional line like the Jimmy Fallon ride. That way you can explore the "museum" yourself instead of it just being switch backs.

We could even actually do 2 levels for more room. Have the queue go upstairs. Have an elevator down during the "Drop" into the backlot and another elevator up in the "green screen" room. Save us some space. Universal did the same thing for Transformers. If you think we need more space

Using the drop into the backlot to make it two levels is brilliant! My only concern is that adding an actual drop makes it very E-ticket. It would have to be clear that it’s slower like transformers as we go down into the backlot to ensure it doesn’t become just a smaller Rise of the Resistance.

That is true, I forgot Rise had the drop in it. I think as long as we clarify it as a slow drop and focus on simple effects and screens/projection we should be fine. But we do have to be careful. "Don't Make an E-Ticket" was basically the only rule they gave us lol

Sidenote: I cannot wait until the next time I feel safe to visit a theme park and get to go to Galaxy's Edge and ride Runaway Railway! And probably Rat by that time too!

What if we still went with the two floor idea and have the queue/ pre-show upstairs and it has all that fun stuff but the start of the ride is getting into an “elevator” (doesn’t have to be an elevator) sending us to the lower lot where we then get into golf carts for the ride. That way we have one floor be the D-ticket ride with the other floor being everything else. Allows us to have two floors without flirting that E-ticket line of having the elevator as part of the ride.

Me too! I had one trip cancelled already (was supposed to take a friend who had never been to a theme park) so I can’t wait to take him. We will have the Rat open by then so it’ll be exciting to ride it again!

My college program was supposed to start mid-may. Hopefully next spring/summer! And your friend is gonna love it!

I love that idea! Nice and simple, gives us plenty of room and nothing too fancy. And I like the idea of incoporating an elevator pre-show into every round (There was one for Mad Max, one in the mini-golf (though not exactly a pre-show), plus the bonus prompt in the pre-season). This could be a fun tradition to keep up if we can lol.

@Pufflefan any ideas for gags or scenes? Or just stuff you think would be fun to draw? Celebrities you want to make fun off that also won't become dated to joke about within the next 2 years (Why did the 3 Stooges movie have an entire sequence on the Jersey Shore TV Show? Who thought that would stay relevant for longer than a week and a half?)

Can definitely make a billionth Terminator movie joke a la JAWS 19 from Back to the Future. They always seem to be working on another one.

There could be a scene like:
Baloney: "We can't have anything too crazy in the movie! You might scare the kids!"
Yakko: "Scare the kids? That's a great idea!"
Then a light gets knocked over and The Warners jump out. Maybe dressed as a vampire or something. It's a loose idea, but I had that idea for a line
Would they spoof themselves?

Baloney: "We can't have anything too crazy in the movie! You might scare the kids!"
Yakko: "Scare the kids? That's a great idea!"
Out comes any of the cats from CATS.
Wakko (looks at golf cart): “We wanted to scare, not traumatize!”

I definitely think Universal would be self referential enough for something like that lol

The rest of tonight and tomorrow will be about throwing out ideas and developing the concept of the attraction.
Then tomorrow evening we start picking roles.
That gives us Wed and Thurs to work on our parts.
Then friday can be about finishing up, editing, and presentation.
I love all the ideas we have come up!
Following your brilliant guideline we should figure out roles. Any preference Pi?

I think only a few rooms (3-4 random ones) instead of 10 helps keep it down. I’d argue (May be the only one) that Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a high D-ticket and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters is a C-ticket (best C-ticket in the world) so trackless doesn’t necessarily guarantee E-ticket
Agreed
That is an excellent point! As long as we don't go tooooo over the top with fancy new effects, the trackless vehicles and random rooms are doable!

This does raise the question of whether it is funnier for it to be a celebrity (and if so which one) or one of the Warners getting caught in a bubble bath with way too many bubbles and rubber duckies.

If it is a celebrity, I'm picturing Morgan Freeman.

Morgan Freeman, calmly: "If you don't mind, this restroom is currently occupied."
Wakko: But this is a potty emergency!

I had pictured the toons but this is much better
