Here is my land description... I tried to be brief in discussing the components so that the land/attraction descriptions would have significantly more information to offer:
Tolkein’s Middle Earth
Step into the world of
The Lord of the Rings and
The Hobbit at Tolkein’s Middle Earth in Universal’s Epic Universe. Set one year after the defeat of Sauron, the Lord of the Rings, guests have the opportunity to see Middle Earth in a different time and scenario than any of the movies. All races of Middle Earth are celebrating the one-year anniversary of Sauron’s defeat, and guests will be able to see the lives and celebrations of the three prominent races: Hobbits, Dwarves, and Elves in our three sublands.
Guests will enter Tolkein’s Middle Earth and be immediately immersed in The Shire, home of the Hobbits. As is often the case with the Hobbits, their celebrations are full of joy, mirth, and indulgence. To celebrate the anniversary of Sauron’s defeat, the Hobbits have constructed a festival, full of food stalls, local shops and wares, fair rides, and a stage show. As the Hobbits have invited all races of Middle Earth to their celebration, guests may feel compelled to visit the lands of the Dwarves and Elves that are celebrating with the Hobbits. Following a winding path through the forest to reach a fork in the road, guests can choose whether they will explore the home of the Dwarves or the Elves.
In Rivendell, guests will explore the valley of the Elves. Here, fantasy truly collides with reality. One of the primary attractions of Tolkein’s Middle Earth, There and Back Again, is located within Rivendell. This exciting river rapids ride through the story of
The Lord of the Rings uses innovative magnetic technology to take ride vehicles off the track and completely into the story. Also in Rivendell is Taethadis’ Treasures, where guests can make their own Elven jewelry, and (INSERT RESTAURANT DESCRIPTION). The splendor of the Elven valley is truly unparalleled and will create an awe-inspiring experience for all guests.
Equally spectacular is the Dwarven section of Tolkein’s Middle Earth, Moria. Moria was once the city of the Dwarves before the War of the Rings, when the dwarves had to leave their home. After the defeat of Sauron, the Dwarves have returned and reclaimed their stunning mountain home of Moria. This city is located withing the Misty Mountains and houses the other primary attraction of Tolkein’s Middle Earth, (INSERT NAME HERE). This attraction utilizes EMV technology to tell the story of the Dwarves returning to Moria to reclaim it as their own. Also in Moria is The Armoury, where guests will have the opportunity to explore and purchase fine Dwarven wares. Moria will transport guests on an exciting adventure through a new story untold in the lore of
The Lord of the Rings.
