Oh, that's sad.
It really was. Then when we got her home, we needed to let her dogs out, which was a nightmare in itself. She has 2 terriers, plus she has MIL's dog, Ginger, who she apparently keeps in a cage constantly. DD and I let her out and the poor thing was parched for thirst, so we gave her lots of water. SIL claims that the dog would just drink and ______ all day if you let her...... It was really hard to watch the whole scene, and DD was really upset.
Meanwhile back at the wedding the bride and her mother were in tears over the whole scene that SIL had made.....

I went to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom yesterday with Josh from Magic. It was soooo much fun. I love it here! :sohappy: I think the day was TR worthy so one may be coming soon!

 back at ya.

I'm a little soggy, but OK. Saw some sun today - I'm in Surrey at my folks.

They made their first steps to possibly getting a dog. We visited an RSPCA dog pound. The only one that my Dad felt a connection with was already reserved. There were a couple Mother liked. One of which I used some Dog Whisperer technique on, which worked a treat.

It was a little Jack Russell that was half way down its pen and yelping (this is what put dad off, between the pitch and the echo). But I quickly had it silent, then it trotted up to the front, sniffed and licked my hand then lay down next to the bars. It came back to say hello when we were passed back past its cage on our way out. I would liked to have taken it out to see how the folks would get on with it, but Dad was not interested.

But I think they may make another trip there in the future to see any new additions.

So glad to hear!

And so cute about the dog. I hope you can find one that's well worthy of being your dog. I know that you will. :D And it will be the cutest thing!

I was in Disney World in May, here are some of the shots from that visit:

Yay! I love Joe's pics!!! You always take amazing photos!

I just got back from a Disney cast member concert that consisted of a choir and orchestra. It was based on show tunes. Absolutely awsome, and I knew half the choir. In fact, one of my friends was in the choir and his twin brother was the conductor.

Sounds like a great evening Jo!

I do remember the custodial/attendant confusion. And I myself am a bit confused as to why a trained and highly qualified attendant would be made to resort to pick-up shifts. My guess, Jo, is that since you are such a good employee who embraces all aspects of Disney service with such a positive attitude, they are putting you where they need you most. I personally think it is major BS that they didn't make you aware of this beforehand, as I assume you would have made a different choice in your program application.

I'd be frustrated too.

Amy, I think you said that exactly right.

 Afternoon!! :o

Happy Anniversary, Nibbs!!!

{{hugs}}, Jo. Believe me, I completely understand how frustrating it can be dealing w/ WDW casting. I can't even tell you how many run arounds I got when I worked there. :brick: I can tell you, that if you're persistent and stay on it, it will all work out in the end. You just have to not back down, girlie

Dot, congrats to Lauren!!! Have a wonderful time at the shower!

Betty, can't wait to hear more about the wedding! Your poor niece....regardless of how she's been about everything, that's really too bad that she had to deal w/ that drama w/ MIL on her wedding day. :(

Vince, can't wait to read the new TR!!!!

Oh, and Jo, let me know if you keep running into problems. I can check to see if my Entertainment connection is still working there. She's a woman I've known for years from Nebraska....used to be one of my aunt's dance assistants at her studio. She started working for WDW back in the 90's as Jasmine and eventually moved up into some sort of managerial position in Entertainment. She was PIVOTAL in getting me through all of my run-arounds w/in Entertainment. I haven't spoken to her in a few years, but I know she's still in contact w/ my aunt and I can see if she's still down there working and could maybe help you out if you need it.
