Well, if you care to elaborate, I am still here, despite my promise to leave. I am back reading HP7 to make sure I didn't miss anything by reading for 5 hours straight last night.

Ok, here comes my sob story. I don't know if you knew about the whole custodial/attendant thing. But I just found out that at the end of this program I won't be going back to seasonal attendant. I will be going seasonal custodial (apparently when I applied for this program, I "transfered" so to speak. And no one told me this). So now, I was told I can still pick up since I am still trained. I have to call day of though, and there is no guarantee that there would be attendant shifts needed that day. So that is why I am frustrated (if you understood all that).

I do remember the custodial/attendant confusion. And I myself am a bit confused as to why a trained and highly qualified attendant would be made to resort to pick-up shifts. My guess, Jo, is that since you are such a good employee who embraces all aspects of Disney service with such a positive attitude, they are putting you where they need you most. I personally think it is major BS that they didn't make you aware of this beforehand, as I assume you would have made a different choice in your program application.

I'd be frustrated too.

Before I go- it's very confusing. Since I am not technically on the schedule, the only way I can pick up is calling day of. And I wish I had realized this before I applied. I would have figured out something. Anyway, as long as I can keep the training status up to date and keep my record card clean, I can transfer back. Well, I am off for real now. I have to work tomorrow, and probably should get some sleep. Thanks for listening Amy.

Anytime, love.

No flag burning, please.

I stole it from a thief, of course.

Wedding related?
Oh yeah - actually there are a million stories, but I'll share the worst one with you.

The wedding was open bar (!), which never can be good, but Dave's sister, the wacko, showed up drunk and proceeded to just get drunker and drunker to the point where DD and I had to drive her home, while Dave and DS took MIL back to the nursing home..... It was definitely not fun. I've suspected for a long time that she has a drinking problem, but this pretty much confirmed my suspicions.

Oh, that's sad.
