Hey girls! Is it freezing where you are? It is sooo cold here right now!When I dropped Abby off at school it was 25 degrees with a wicked wind.
It's been so nice...it can't be cold again!

Yes, it's chilly here too. At least there's sunshine though. And my daffodils are coming up, so yay!

Might have to buy some of them on my next grocery trip....
you know what would be kinda cool? A Magic Friends cookbook - each of us share some of our favorite recipes and put it together in a booklet form or something.

Thanks! I just started my to-do lists and I don't know where to stop. It's going to be a challenge to start working on them and not chat on here all day

Yep... mine said 27 and I didn't have a jacket on... started my car and ran back inside to get it and was just like "THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!!!! I HATE NEW ENGLAND SOMETIMES!!!!!!"

Don't know who Rob Pattinson is but if he's involved with Twilight he is not okay in my book...

I do have access to a binding machine :animwink:....if y'all like this idea, let me know, and I can start collecting recipes and typing them up. If we start now, I can probably have them done by summer.
But I need ideas....have it in sections? Entrees, desserts, salads, appetizers, things like that?

And... I DO love to cook... and am a good cook... but unfortunately I'm strictly by the book. I mean, I might be reading a cook book and get slightly fancy... but nothing too extreme...
so... I wouldn't be able to add anything fun...

Hey, alright! Another guy who loves to cook. I love to cook, and I'm pretty good I think. I cook more than my wife does :lol:.

My hubby claims that he loves to cook, but I don't remember the last time he actually made a meal. I remember him inviting me over for dinner when we were dating he would come up with some idea for whatever meat he wanted to cook, but that would be it. There would be no sides or anything else with it, just a creatively cooked piece of meat:lol:

Sure you can....something that's unique to the New England area, for example....a favorite recipe your mom has passed on to you, things like that. Just because it's old and familiar to you doesn't mean it wouldn't be new and exciting to someone else.
I tried making a list of how many of us there are...I'm counting 15-16 that are fairly regular posters, plus a few more that stop by from time to time....if everyone just contributes 2 recipes, that 30-40 total. Not that you need to be limited to two - you could add more....
Just thinking.
