Suggestions for Couple Dinner?

Hey! What are the best restaurants to visit for a more romantic night out? My husband has given up our annual vacation alone to go with my friends to Disney World this year. Bless his heart! He hasn't been to DW yet and doesn't understand why I'm so excited.

I'd like to take him out alone one night to preserve some of that couple time.

Thanks everyone!

I'd recommend San Angel Inn located in the Mexican Pavillion in World Showcase at Epcot. The ambiance of the pavillion is romantic even if you're just strolling though, and you can enjoy a nice glass of wine and watch the boats pass by on Gran Fiesta.

If you've got the money, try for Victoria & Alberts as well.

Both menu's can be found here: http://www.wdwmagic.com/menus.htm

Hope that helps. Have a magical trip and be sure to tell us what you decide!

Victoria and Albert's is by far the most quiet and romantic dinner you can have at WDW but it is very expensive. If you can afford it, go for it! And remember it takes a good 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

As others have said, if you can afford it, try Victoria and Alberts. Cali Grill, Bistro de Paris and Narcoossee's also look very nice!

California Grill (on top of the Contemporary) while Wishes is going on is another great romantic spot...they pipe in the music and everything. Get a window table, sip on a great glass of wine, and enjoy. :)

I also agree with San Angel Inn in Mexico!! My husband and I eat there our first nite every trip! We got engaged the night we ate there! We will be there again in ten nights! :ROFLOL:I also suggest Jicko! Food is great! Have fun!

I've heard good things about Citricos at the GF. In fact, I wanted to go there this time, but it's not a good place for the kiddies!

I couldn't agree more. Candlelight setting all day long, and soooo romantic.

I will agree with everyone else. The San Angel Inn in Epcot.DH and I ate dinner there on our Honeymoon. It was the best we had.

I cannot disagree enough, I hated the San Angel Inn. I found the atmosphere to be terrible, the food was the worst I had at the world, and the service was by far the worst of my vacation. (Sorry had the throw the curve ball!) I do agree on California Grill, and Victoria and Albert's. Good luck, and enjoy!

San Angel is more mood than quality, though we have a lot of great Mexican/Latino restaurants in my neck o' the woods, that might help.

Definitely would agree on Cali Grill, Jiko, and Artist's Point.

Yes San Angel has great atmosphere, as its low light and candles. But I would never recommend this place to anyone. I was VERY disappointed when I ate there last Oct. I have eaten at some Mexican restaurants that have had much better service and food.

My vote would be California Grill. This would also help if you weren't planing on spending a day in the park.

Couldn't agree more. If you are spoiled by great Mexican food (I live in Texas so I am), then you might be disappointed in the food.
But it does have a very romantic atmoshpere.

The grandparents are joining us on our next trip, so my DH and I finally get to go out to dinner by ourselves one night.
We chose the California Grill. We've never been there, so I am really looking forward to it.

Agree the food is nothing special, and though the setting is nice, I think the tables may be too close together. Adding Flying Fish (maybe a boardwalk stroll) and Citricos to the list FWIW.

My wife and I dined at the California Grill on Valentines Day this past February. It was an amazing experience. Being that it is an open kitchen it can be rather noisy, but once you sit and begin your meal you get so caught up in everything that you don`t even notice the noise. Our evening was one we will never forget. The food, service and atmosphere was magical!!

P.S. The fireworks at the Kingdom were fantastic from the observation deck.:sohappy:

I would have to agree with a bunch of other people here and say California Grill.

My boyfriend is not a Disney nut...and he loved the place.

It was such a perfect dinner. they sat us by the window which was right in front of the castle. Our entree came just as the fireworks was starting.

The only way I could get him to agree to another Disney trip is if we eat there again!

I have heard good things about Narcossee's. I've booked our anniversary dinner there. Anyone have any thoughts on the place?
