What I said is that it is pointless to appraise a park in transition with practically a third of the park still closed. Some people, perhaps including yourself, didn't like your opinion being marginalized by logic in that way. You can't retcon forum posts, sorry.
Except they weren't appraising the park, they were however, appraising the decision to cut atmosphere entertainment in a park that is "in transition." A park which, btw, is still charging full price for admission during its "transition." Entertainment/streetmosphere is useful in creating atmosphere in a fully fleshed out parked....but it is even a more useful tool when used as distraction and attention getter in a park that has construction walls all around and limited attractions. The fact that these types of things have been cut at a time when they are needed to pull attention away from the park's current shortcomings is cause for concern about what may happen to these types of entertainment when the "transition" is complete and the initial rush to see the new stuff begins to wane.
I will not, however argue the point that people tend to ignore additions that they don't enjoy, if they think it came at the expense of something they did enjoy.....ie. cuts to the Citizens of Hollywood, offset by the addition of a dance party. That obviously does happen.
