stuck on a ride?

I was stuck on SSE for about 45-60min last December.

It was inbetween the scenes where Juanita Johnson graduates (while her parents watch via video phone), and the mother sings the lullabye to her kid via the video phone.

It still haunts me to this day. I must of watched Juanita graduate about 120 times: "I deeed it... I deeeed it!!" ugh... alright.. enough already Juanita... we get it. :fork:

Rock-N-Rollercoaster!

We got stuck on Rock-N-Rollercoaster in the last car halfway up the first loop. We sped off and started slowing down (we were at the end and upside down) and backed up all the way to the entrance of the "tunnel". The music was still blaring in our ears and the ride was still dark. We couldn't see anything and we were so scared another limo was going to ram us in the back. After about ten minutes the music stopped and fater another five or so the lights came on and they had to evacuate us. It was amazing to see how small that building actually is!

:lol: I feel your pain. I have never been stuck anywhere cool. It seems like it is always at the most anoying part of even the cool rides. I have been stuck for about 15 min. on Splash right at the part where you re-enter after the big slapsh and they are sining Zipadee-Do-Dah. I think we have all probably beens stuck on IASW, I was stuck there for thrity minutes once, and there is no where cool to get stuck on that ride.

I have a dream of one day being stuck on SSE and being evaced, but I don't think it will ever happen.

Been stuck on SSE on the down slop too...great place for a quick nap:snore::snore::snore:

We were stuck on IaSW for almost 30 minutes. I kept looking around for something to jam into my ears :lookaroun. I don't know what happened, but we were the last boat out of the load zone and finally we stopped just below the pink elephant. Maybe someone fell in the water?:shrug:

Also was stuck on COP. We did get a chance to se the last scene twice.

We got stuck RIGHT IN FRONT of the big semi you sort of dodge in Test Track. For about 35 minutes. Which doesn't sound too bad... But the problem was that even though the ride was down... The semi wasn't. :brick:

So every couple minutes the headlights popped on right in our eyes, and the REALLY REALLY LOUD speakers played the semi horn blowing and the screeching sounds.

Yeah. That sucked.

I know what you mean about never breaking down anywhere cool. We broke down on the boat ride in Mexico and for about 20 mins. right where the locals are chasing you down trying to sell you stuff. One time through is fine, 20 minutes will sens you to the loony bin!:brick:

We have been stuck on IASW before, and I don't really know how long it was b/c they kept the soundtrack booming while we waited. It felt like days. Boy, it was painful. We were stuck in the middle of that dang song going in 6 or 7 different languages. We never really knew why it shut down, but it was down for at least 30-45 minutes.

What is the time frame where they begin to unload passengers throughout the ride?
Why wouldn't they turn the song off while they fixed the problems? (I probably would not have minded much if we were on POTC or SM)

I've heard that it's a small world and haunted mansion when they close the sound is still on or is it the animatronics?:confused:

anyway i've been stuck on test track in the heat section, buzz lightyear, SSE, the land ride, haunted mansion a few times in the graveyard scene and mexico.

It was at least 10-12 years ago that hubby and I got stuck on Pirates (POTC) it was just before the drop and no matter what they tried our boat and the one in front of us just would not budge. Finaaly they turned all the lights on and escorted us off the boat onto one of the little "land" area's . We walked throught the hallways behind the ride and it let us out in the back of the ride behind a gated section. It was pretty interesting to get off the ride when it was completely lit up.

We got stuck for a few minutes in the New Nemo ride at Epcot when they were having a soft opening. Last month my husband and kids got stuck on Test Track for about 20-25 minutes. They said that the ride had stopped and then people on the track got out of their cars and started walking back in. I saw people walking up there but I can't figure out how they got out of the seat belts, security locks?, & why would they anyway. :shrug:

During my annual 2 week trip in July this past time, I got stuck on Space mountain, which has been a dream of mine to see it and ride it with the lights on, about 20 seconds away from the second tunnel, and it was great to see all of it with the lights on. I got stuck on it again a couple of days later, and I got both trips of it on video, it was fun.

Cool thread....

Best getting stuck - POTC at the very end before they removed those drunk, shooting pirates. I loved that part and we were able to memorize that loop since we hear/saw it about 50 times +. Now it is all Captain Jack at the end which is a shame. They moved the really great animatronics to put in ONE CHARACTER. That kills me - so I am really glad we got stuck there. 2 weeks ago I got stuck in the same spot and it was not at all entertaining. :(

Worst getting stuck - on Nemo right at the bubble room where it says over and over, "Where's Nemo? There he is...." Those bubbles can make you darned near hurl! I don't think my DH will ever go on that ride again.

Of course I have been stuck on Haunted Mansion right next to the graveyard "pop-up ghosts" back when they shrieked. About 10 minutes of that is enough to drive you crazy.

I was at Thunder Mountain a few weeks ago and one of the trains had some lap bars that would not go up and much of the train riders had to go again because they had already boarded the seats that worked. Everyone was happy to go again except one person that was "scared" :lookaroun

Now fair rides - been stuck on some really scary ones! :lol: :cry:

All the lights came on, not much to see but a giant room. Then some guy who looked like Bob the builder popped out of nowhere and started yelling at people to leave out the exits. And that was a lot of people! Another time on PotC the boats stopped and the lights came on because the Brazilians were trying to grab loot by hanging out of the boat.
