They also recently added an expanded outdoor seating area.To be fair they moved the windows to make a bigger cattle market.

Even Sith apprentices appreciate a cold one now and then!Younglings and Vader never really should go together...
What actually could fit in this space? An omnimover attraction??To be fair they moved the windows to make a bigger cattle market.

I've scoped this out earlier and got similar numbers:
SGE: 18.4k sqft / .42 acres
Snacks and shops: 9k sqft / .2 acres
Total: 27.4k sqft / .64 acres
Peter Pan: 13.5 sqft / .31 acres
So, yeah, you could have a repeat of one of the shortest and lowest capacity dark rides in that space.
For comparison, Buzz is .55 acres.

It's going to be difficult to put in a *ride*. Recall the size of the theater, there were two of them. That would be the total amount of space for a ride and maybe the pre-show lobby. If ever repurposed it would likely be another theater experience.
They did. But outdoor seating has been there for a long time. They also recently added an expanded outdoor seating area.
Pretty sure they gutted the AA's long ago. Not sure about the actual show room itself. Anyway, if they had planned on doing anything with it, it's pretty much thrown out the window for the foreseeable future due to the set back from the closures.So... Have they begun gutting yet or already done it?
Not that I mind, don't think the wreck it ralph idea would do very well post corona...Pretty sure they gutted the AA's long ago. Not sure about the actual show room itself. Any news on this one or on indefinite hold? That is the intention. The AAs may not be replaced as much as reskinned.
Though I would have hoped to have heard more by now.
CoP? Like most things it’s gone quiet.Any news on this one or on indefinite hold?
You know Splash will somehow get fast tracked (into an extremely disappointing result) despite the financial circumstancesThere won’t be anything built...at all...for quite sometime.
I’ll try not to be too repetitive on this...I’ll TRY. We are at the start of this...bunker down
Splash is a unique situation...nothing else like itYou know Splash will somehow get fast tracked (into an extremely disappointing result) despite the financial circumstances
Personally I dont see Splash at WDW being fast tracked. Given the project has seemingly faded [no new official anything and only results in CA]You know Splash will somehow get fast tracked (into an extremely disappointing result) despite the financial circumstances
Personally, I'd expect WDW's Splash to be the next "major" ride WDW opens after the upcoming string of Rat, Guardians, and Tron.Personally I dont see Splash at WDW being fast tracked. Given the project has seemingly faded [no new official anything and only results in CA]
That’s a safe bet considering no other major rides have been announced, let alone placed on the timeline, after Rat, Guardians, And Tron.Personally, I'd expect WDW's Splash to be the next "major" ride WDW opens after the upcoming string of Rat, Guardians, and Tron.
Yep...which is patheticPersonally, I'd expect WDW's Splash to be the next "major" ride WDW opens after the upcoming string of Rat, Guardians, and Tron.
Definitely sounds like a realistic scenario. I guess that means that any project announced at D23 2022 will finish up sometime after splash, which seems to make sense, since splash isn’t going anywhere until 2022 or 2023, and because of that the re-theme will most likely be underway during the Expo.Personally, I'd expect WDW's Splash to be the next "major" ride WDW opens after the upcoming string of Rat, Guardians, and Tron.
