I have thought for a long time time that SM could be gutted and filled with new content.

isnt buzz an "action" interactive dark ride? I dont think that counts as traditional.
Unless I'm confusing rides.

It's not necessarily only Ant Man, but it definitely will feature him prominently.

Let's just call it tentative though, the Legco is putting up opposition. They'll probably approve it, but there are hurdles.

Update @atighe42, there seems to have been a misunderstanding. There are no plans to put Marvel into Buzz that I'm aware of. That's why he said HK.

Wait, wait, wait. When was this ever being considered for WDW? I am only aware of the plans for an overhaul for the Hong Kong version...

Sorry, I misread @MickeyMario 's response to my initial post. I thought he said this was coming to WDW's Buzz Lightyear attraction AS WELL as HK's.

To me it seems like Ant-Man is taking over Buzz and a full on Avengers ride is what'll replace the Speedway in Hong Kong.

Buzz fits the Tomorrowland theme but I I feel like he's overstayed his welcome plus he has a far superior version at HS. I'd like to see Buzz get a Lilo and Stitch overlay and see Monsters Laugh Floor retooled as an interactive Inside Out Talent Show featuring the emotions found inside the minds of audience members.

I'd like to see original, non IP attractions but that won't happen either.
