Dang. I was hoping for a new attraction soon, but have it at least have some time and thought ut into it. Not a fast cash grabKnowing that the new movie will be coming out 2018 I'd expect this replacement to be fast tracked.
So basically every new attraction in the last few years?Dang. I was hoping for a new attraction soon, but have it at least have some time and thought ut into it. Not a fast cash grab
Why is this so painfully true?So basically every new attraction in the last few years?
Knowing that the new movie will be coming out 2018 I'd expect this replacement to be fast tracked.
When was the last time WDW fast tracked an actual attraction?
I seem to recall that the new FOTLK theater got done in a timely fashion.
I'm not talking shows. I'm talking a ride.
Thats what i mean the attraction not stitch as a wholeMy kids love stich... the ride not so much but the character is finnand mischievous and they love that and love seeing him. Ride needs to go but I hope they don't just bury the character.
All they need to do is replace the chairs develop the game and get the vr stuff from disney quest! Its not that hard and would most likely be done in time!Knowing that the new movie will be coming out 2018 I'd expect this replacement to be fast tracked.
Technically speaking, almost every project Disney does is fast tracked as the term describes a building process where construction starts before design is complete. It is supposed to be a faster process but it is a very relative term."Fast tracked"? I think you're confusing WDW with the resort down the street.
When was the last time WDW fast tracked an actual attraction?
If Stitch goes seasonal, all that tells me is they have no immediate plans to begin any sort of replacement. If they did, they wouldn't close stitch for stretches and then re-open it.
It was a theater based on a well established show, so all of the difficult technical work was rather set. Even then, it was not done in time for their to be little-to-no down time for the show.I seem to recall that the new FOTLK theater got done in a timely fashion.
Using old virtual reality technology just as much better systems are hitting the commercial market would be awful. All they need to do is replace the chairs develop the game and get the vr stuff from disney quest! Its not that hard and would most likely be done in time!

But you said attraction, a term which in the context of Disney can include rides and shows.
Wow. Are we going to argue about symantics? Okay, I'll play.
Disney's website lists the Festival of the Lion King under "Entertainment"... Not "Attractions".

But okay, you're right. A building built to house a 10+ year old show that was moving locations falls into the category of "fast tracking".
Do I have to make a whole new post to clarify that I clearly was talking about quick design, development, and construction of a new RIDE in a rushed fashion (as this whole thread is about a possible new ride, and the post I was replying to was suggesting the "fast tracking" of a new ride in the current Stitch location), or can this sentence take care of that for me?
