I hope they’re not retooling Stitch’s Great Escape for the remake  Bring on Chairman Clench! Or Alien Zoo :)
Here is a longer post than oof. lol

I doubt they would do this because the film has barely started to write the script. This movie probably wont come out until 2022-2023. They wouldn't leave an attraction empty for 5 years. The most they would do with this movie at the parks is bringing back the characters for a M&G

Saying something is a "live action remake" (LAR) is way too vague for what's happening.

First, there's fidelity to the original. BatB and JB LARs were mostly a complete remake with some monor changes to tie up some plot points or assign motivations with a more modern sensibility (with varying degrees of success). OTOH, Maleficent and AiW introduced whole new plots and story lines making them not very much of a "remake."

Then there's the "live" part of "live-action." That's normally in reference to live, in-the-flesh human beings acting live in front of a camera. But many of these LARs still have some animation (which is not 'live') such as Cinderella LAR or even mostly animated as CGI as in JB or the upcoming Lion King which will have, supposedly, nothing live.

In conclusion, "remake" should be for making the same movie again. That's just standard industry terminology. If it's not a remake, then it should be referred to as "based on."

"Live action" should mean not animated. If it's now CGI, say so, not "live action." And if it's mixed (or 'hybrid'), then say it's a mixed live action and CGI movie.

I don't know about that. They like to let crappy stuff languish in some sort of hazy nostalgic stasis hell for decades. Or bring something out of retirement to be a 'limited run' (read: cheap placeholder cuz we don't have a clue what we're doing) for 5 damn years (Micheal Jackson's Captain EO comes to mind, *shudder*)

They can just use the Stitch AA to replace Sunny Eclipse. He can serenade us with Elvis songs while we provide our own hotdog burps.

Is the SGE space big enough to accommodate a show, a la Philharmagic? A show in TL wouldn't go amiss, and MiLF can get moved/ditched for a ride. If SWSA could fit in that little shoebox of a space, then something can fit in the MiLF space.

I don't want to lose sonny eclipse, but somewhere in one of the parks a stitch elvis singing songs sounds amazing!!! That's the stuff that make people like stitch. Unfortunately they got his attraction wrong.
