Don't get me wrong, the Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movies SUCKED, but I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to Disney's new algorithm that they've hit with their live action remakes. Most have been pretty solid, if not really good.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was a good movie and in my opinion better than the original.

Lol. I don't care. I'm not prone to care about things said online, and I'm certainly not offended by someone calling me crazy. That's just normal back and forth conversation hyperbole. The hypersensitive nature of the world and what people think is offensive nowadays actually offends me. People are nuts.

But thanks for looking out..

But. In my opinion, Charlie and the chocolate factory felt phoned in and lazy.

Opinions will be opinions, but here's the thing. Charlie and the Chocolate factory was OKAY, but I felt mildly disappointed. Had they introduced PART of the storyline into a progression from the ORIGINAL, it could have potentially worked (as in Wonka gave Charlie the factory, and eventually Charlie learns what has Wonka so crazy for what he does) but I think when EVERYONE heard the name, we anticipated it to be a continuance of the original, I was sad to see that it wasn't. I much rather prefer the original.

I think if you were to ask people born after 1980 if they've even heard of the film, most of them won't know what you're talking about.
Born in ‘87. Bring on the interactive V.I.N.C.E.N.T meet and greet, I say. You know, to compliment the trackless dark ride wherein riders are being hunted by Maximillian.

Hmm. I was kidding at first, but can we have these things, please?

BOLD PREDICTION:
When guardians opened in Disneyland there were several easter eggs to other attractions.
I'm assuming the collector and his oddities or some secret vault on some planet will be part of the pre show of the new ride in epcot....
I'm guessing the stitch animatronic in the middle of sge will be in a glass tube somewhere in the preshow area.

Just a guess, I'm hoping to see lots of cool old Disney/epcot stuff hidden around when this is complete though.
I’m kinda hoping they go another route with the Epcot version...if it supposedly is going to “fit” in with old-school epcot, I think displaying evicted props/animatronics might not be the most tactful thing to do...though tact is apparently not the current regimes strongpoint anyway... I guess I’m still holding out that the pavilion could have something to do with “energy” even if it means Rocket being chased through the attraction over stolen batteries... 😉

There's more charm and wonder in any given 5-minute stretch of the original than in the entirety of the Tim Burton disaster. And I like plenty of Tim Burton films. And of course we have to get the beyond-tired backstory of Wonka's "daddy issues" that seems to be mandatory in so many of these dreary CGI-infested remakes.

Collector's Museum isn't the theme of the Epcot Guardians attraction. Instead they're basing it around Nova Corps and presenting it as Xandar's "World Showcase Pavilion that's not actually in World Showcase".

Or the Energy Pavilion Presented by Nova Corps

I actually think that’s a creative idea that could work well in Epcot. Please do not kill me.
