Well, it's not what I'd call "alot." More like "alittle."

BY GOSH THERE BETTER BE "ALOT" OF AE REFERENCES. THIS "A LITTLE" BULLCRAP ISN'T GOING TO CUT IT :fork:

In all seriousness I guess the time is almost here. I'll be there the first week of June. I wasn't planning on it being open and I don't know how I'm going to react. I know for a fact I'm going to send my parents in first and I'll go by their reaction. They know how much of a hardcore AE fan I am so if they say I should go in, I'll give it a try. But if they say it will just depress me, I'm a no go. Either way I'll be rockin' the AE shirt HARD that first day we go to the MK. I might even break out the Skippy hand puppet (only sold the first couple of years) to make me feel better. Yes I'm crazy.

Yep kids the moment of truth is about here. Business is about to pick up and it's about to get very interesting.

Well, his name is Jon, he's a WDW WDI Imagineer. Main Project was Stitch, but Stitch is now complete. I'll see if I can offer more info. :)
There are no such thing as WDW imagineers or DL, DCA, imagineers for that matter.

Someone is Imagineer or isn't, and is never particular assigned to 1 park.

That is amazing!! I mean three days ago everyone was talking about how Alien was being scrapped. Now Stitch is finished?? Is this possible, or a cruel hoax? I am not doubting anything, but why is Disney putting so much effort towards this ride?

Corrus, my friend has confirmed that he knows you... vaguely, and not personally as he put it. I leave you to figure out which Jon it is... he told me there are 3 Jons in WDW, and many more in other WDI offices.

Anyone know what the hight requirement will be? I have a 4 year old, 41 inch Stitch junkie. Any chance I won't have to break her heart? I can't stretch her too much by June!

Thanks for the quick info. Sorry I missed the post from bill. I've been off the boards for a while and have just been skimming the latest posts.

Well, Stitch's Great Escape is complete. They are now entering a Test & Adjust Phase. The only thing left to be done is the line cue, and adjusting props, etc. And for those AE fans, Skippy is still there, in all his glory, though he is wearing a GF suit, but his "clothes" could change before opening. And WDI still plans to open in late May.

So are you saying that if I go there in July I'll be able to ride it? I thought it was opening in October.

That would be pretty cool if they had soft openings around late June (when I am at Disney). M:S had a soft opening early June last year that my sister checked out, and I wasn't aware of it!
