The animation alone for the preshow would take more time than this..there are too many facts (including people who actually KNOW for a fact [not claiming they do]) pointing to this post being untrue :)

Animation could have started LONG before Alien even closed. There is no evidence that would suggest that it couldn't have been done before hand.

Why can't you admit you could be wrong?

You're looking more and more like a fake to everybody here.

I say everybody, because there are several of us that have known that for a long time.

Now either come up with a concrete, undisputable fact or go away.

Not to take any sides or anything (because I think this argument in rediculous)...but neither side has really shown any evidence to support their "information"....so until someone shows something "concrete" both sides remain equally credible on the issue...better yet lets leave it up to time...no better judge of credibility...

Y'know I have nothing but respect for ya bud....but time has shown that he cannot be trusted. He's lied to us once, why not again?

And actually, a few people who know how a WDI contract works have spoken out against bill.

So we have 2 scenarios:

1) Bill is lying and is using little bits of rumors to make a very large story.

2) This guy "jon" is an imagineer and Bill is incredibly stupid or incredibly selfish by putting his job at risk.

I assure you I am NOT Lying, and I assure you that Jon has assured me that I am not putting his job at risk.

I propose we end this here, and no longer go on fighting, becuase there is no way you can prove what you say more then I can prove what I say...

This is just going to go on and on...

All we are doing is wasting Steve's bandwidth.

If you have any more comments, please e-mail me.

bill@magicalears.com

Not to say that I'm not going to continue this thread if you continue to reply...

But I think that e-mail would be much more appropriate.

It's not going to bother me either way if it is open in early June or not. Crap it won't bother me personally if it never opens

I am not 100% sure that Bill is right (and since I don't know anyone close to the project there is no way I could be 100% sure) but to his credit those Stitch rumors have been around for a long time so I guess it is very possible that animation could have started a long time ago. Animation could have been done back when I was laughing at the possibility of AE leaving, and we all know how that turned out

Let's just all try to be patient and see how it goes

We wouldn't even be having this conversation if AE would still be up and running....

Lets blame Eisner for this whole thing too....:lookaroun :p

EXACTLY! Just think how much simplier and better our lives would be if they had just left AE alone!

But I guess I can take some of the blame for AE closing. I bought a ticket to see Lilo & Stitch. Oh if I knew then what I knew now. I'd be at the front of the theater asking people to please go see something, ANYTHING else

BTW please don't take anything in that post TOO seriously. Don't want to start any fights with "Lilo & Stitch" fans. These boards have gotten violent lately

In many ways...the beginning of LILO and STITCH had AE replacement written all over it...and though I thought it was rather funny how it resembled AE then (with stitch escaping and all)..I never knew that it would be a replacement.....its better than AE...

*sigh*

Just spoke to a friend who is at WDW right now, {he called me tonight} and he said the walls are still up around Stitch encounter and there were no signs stating that it is ready to open, and he hasn't heard anyone there say anything to that effect. He is going to ask around tomorrow.
