I have to agree that it was done well. I just can't imagine it fitting on Main Street at all, but where else in the MK do you put it? Epcot seems to me to be the only park with an obvious spot, possibly the old Fountainview. I can't imagine them building a new structure, so where do you put them in the other parks? For example, Starring Rolls at DHS could work but is probably way too small.

Maybe what's left of the old camera centers will finally bite the dust!

I'd love to see Fountain View get its breakfast offerings back. I used to love getting a muffin and just sitting out on the patio watching the crowds rush by and listening to the fountain show.

The best place would be someone handing me a dopio espresso the instant I put my feet on the floor from my resort bed. If WDW cannot achieve this, I think they should have one outside of the park just outside the main gate and one inside, relatively soon as you get in.

Even the in park price will be a lot cheaper than what we pay over here in the UK.

Plus you lucky Yanks have the holy grail of Starbucks beverages......Lemonade Sweet Tea!! *Homer simpson style drool*

Totally agree. That was one of our favorite spots to get a coffee and pastry when entering Epcot. Now there is nowhere in Future World to do that!

Looking at the video tour above, that place is huge! No way they will get that kind of space in WDW unless they close something significant at each park.

I generally go to WDW during slower times of the year, so I've never seen the Noodle Station in MK open. I think that would be a great place for a Starbucks. Enough out of the way that it wouldn't be a bother to those not interested in it, but a nice covered area with lots of seating and restrooms.

I wonder if Disney ever considers the possibility of bringing in their own "original" product rather than famous brands. After all, things like their stuffed animals and shirts aren't sold as licensed Gund or American Apparel products, and they sell just fine (and are inferior in quality to other brand manufacturers).

Unfortunately, starbucks is so popular that the resulting spike in sales will undoubtedly be a sweet deal for both parties ...but you will still find me at my preferred Dolebucks, pineapple float in hand.

Coffee is very different than clothing. For Disney to have their own brand of coffee they would have to have a relationship with coffee farms, pay for research for beverage recipes, quality control, etc. By teaming up with Starbucks they can produce a quality product with out having to put up the extra money to make sure their product is on par with what is offered elsewhere.

To me this doesn't even look like a Starbucks. Outside of offering the same beverages nothing screamed Starbucks outside of the logo (which is a very old Starbucks logo might I add) and the drink offerings. Like many of you know I work at Starbucks in Times Square and the prices at Disneyland are on the same scale as the NYC Metro area. So it isn't a mark up of Starbucks so much as it is a different Starbucks price quote. It is more than you will pay in small town America but not any more than you would pay in L.A., NYC, or Seattle. So this was probably not Disney's mark up but Starbucks just putting the price at their highest price scale because the demand is there and not many other convenient options so they have the control.

If only they could integrate them into the resorts as well. The coffee at the All Star Sports was awful. Either that or at least have a stand before you enter the parks. I like to get there at opening to get right on the big rides, not waste 5 mins getting my iced coffee then having to chug the thing before I board Space Mountain. I like to sip my morning brew and be able to enjoy it.

Just any set up where I don't have to wait till I'm in the park. I function terribly without my morning coffee and I don't want to enter the Magic Kingdom in a bad mood.

Have you tried Ice Coffee Via? The new formula is much better than it use to be and in a pinch it is better than the stuff they give at Disney. I just grab a carton of milk from the food court and mix it in a water bottle. I also put a little chocolate milk in it as well when I want my mocha ice coffee.

If they don't get better coffee at the value resorts by my next trip, I will have to try that. The hot and humid weather followed me home so maybe I should look into it now instead of spending $4 at Starbucks or DD every morning. Either that or look up how to brew it iced at home.

Brewing Iced at home is actually pretty easy. Starbucks sells the ice coffee by the pound (in NYC it cost 11 a lb I believe) and they even grind it for you. To brew ice coffee you just buy that blend and then use a double brewing method. Basically if your coffee pot would typically take 4 scoops of ground coffee you would use 8 of the ice coffee. Then you pour the hot coffee over ice. The hot coffee should melt the ice thus making the proper coffee to water ratio. Put it in the fridge and once you are ready to drink it just pour it over some milk, sugar, and more ice. Simple as that.

I have used the double brew method for regular coffee before and found it to be fine. I like using a darker blend or using a higher quality blend like Illy. Kenya blends are great for Ice Coffee.
