Pictures of the park brochure are now floating in the wild. It looks like the first weekend is all afternoon singing times. I guess they got tired of the morning signings going almost until the parade was suppose to start.

Any word on authors this year? Since they canned a whole bunch of them and their generation worth of characters, it should be pretty easy to fit their current handful into a room or two.

Thanks!

And.../sigh

Jason Fry is good. The Essential Atlas is an awesome bathroom book. But...

No Zahn, Denning, Golden...not even their current authors like Luceno or Hearne.

I understand not wanting the first three and authors from the old EU, I don't like it, but I understand it. I don't get why they wouldn't have Luceno or Hearne. I'd make a trip just to get Kevin Hearne to sign my Iron Druid books.

Just an AP'er here so I guess I will be limited to the one type. That works for me though!! Marie

All three of us are AP and I'm the DVC member. So if we separate, four posters? Unless the DVC & AP poster is the same. Otherwise, there is going to be a lightsaber battle to the death over a single poster.

Let me know where this epic battle will occur, Ill be sure to stop by!!! Marie

Unless we each get a poster, the battle will commence sometime after the end of the parade next Saturday. Just look for the flashing red, blue and green lightsabers. And three adults keeling over from heat stroke, lol.

I'm trying to get reservations for next Friday 5/22 (a last minute trip) for the breakfast but, obviously, they're already booked up.

I'm sure there will be some cancellations. Anyone have any advice on getting a spot?

Check every day, especially next Wednesday evening/early Thursday when folks who have a breakfast reservation on Friday need to cancel by to avoid the $10/person cancellation fee. Or call Disney Dining. Sometimes the app/website isn't functioning properly and the folks on the phone will be able to see spots you can't. I've been checking daily for a dinner time for the Rebel Hanger on Saturday, hoping that I will check just when someone cancels their ADR. Wouldn't it be nice if you could call and Dining could put you on a wait list?

Thanks a bunch. That's great advice.

A wait list would be great, but I'd bet they'd have a ton of people putting their names on the wait list who wouldn't follow through.

Not sure what the answer is except, I don't know, maybe having supply that actually meets demand? But this is Disney. Why spend money to actually make money?

It'd be really interesting to know how many more people would do these dining things if they had more capacity. I would be surprised to see the number nearly double.

I haven't checked, but I wonder if all the ADRs for the breakfast at Sci-Fi are completely booked for the entire period. With The Force Awakens opening this December, I think the demand for anything SW related is going to skyrocket and I am surprised Disney isn't offering more venues for meals like this. The crowds at Sci-Fi will be different than those at Hollywood & Vine. I'd rather see more dining events like Sci-Fi, H&V & Rebel Hanger than expensive packages to watch parades and fireworks. I had an excellent spot - in the shade no less - for watching the parade last year and we showed up 5 minutes before it started. And didn't have to purchase a premium package.

My only gripe? The 24 hour party is Frozen related. Personally, I would have loved to seen something SW related, especially with the movie coming out this year. Now that is something I would mainline 5 Hour Energy in order to stay awake for. :D
