Doomcork's source is "filmmaker" Kamran Pasha, whose IMDB page shows he has no connection to Disney and has had no production credits since 2019.

Doomcork/Kamran has been peddling this "leak" since... FEBRUARY.

See this video. Actually, don't give it the click, but for the lulz, read the summary...
9,912 views - Feb 9, 2023 - Filmmaker Kamran Pasha shares information from sources inside Disney/Lucasfilm who tell him that the Leslye Headland Star Wars Acolyte project is DOA and that Headland and Kathleen Kennedy are propping the project up with their own money and lying to industry press in order to coerce Disney into funding the project. He also gives more information about major shakeups in the once solid company.

Typical Kathleen Kennedy derangement syndrome. Hilarious scenario that KK can unilaterally keep this alive with her own money and what? Hide it from Disney's film's president and CEO? And who is trying to kill the project and has the authority to do so other than Disney's film's president and the CEO? Do they think KK is portalling into a Disney Board meeting cackling, "You can try all you want to kill this project, but you can't!! I will manifest it!!!"

Since February, it's been confirmed that Acolyte is still on. If it wasn't still on, it would have been disappeared like Rangers of the New Republic.

This isn't reality, it's a sitcom invented by a self-deluded echo chamber.

Again, if you like hearing from Kamran or Doomcork, you need to find out from them how they had this so wrong....

The project had every high-profile director in town chasing it for months and marks a major win for Headland who recently wrapped production on the highly-anticipated Star Wars series The Acolyte. That series became one of the big winners at the recent Stat Wars Celebration event in London, after early footage was shown that got the room buzzing.

I wouldn't mind seeing a new release strategy with some of these as many seem to lose steam after a couple weeks IMO. Maybe release the whole season within a 3-4 window to keep the buzz going.

This show is going to totally flop and everyone involved is going to pretend like they have no idea why nobody was interested (when South Park eloquently explained it to them a year ago).

Hi there big time original trilogy AND prequel trilogy fan here. I'm done with the poor quality movies/shows lucasfilm has made under Disney.

I tried with the movies, overall, theyre crap. The shows had a strong start with Mandolorian, but have gotten worse. Recently Obi-wan was peak bad... Andor was ok, and Ahsoka was below ok. Willow was one of the worst things I've ever watched. I have zero faith in current Lucasfilm and simply don't care about anything they make anymore. My disney plus subscription ends in a week and I wont be watching The Acolyte.

This apparently draws from (or is inspired by) TLJ among other sources. We’ll find out if doing so is a wise move in just a few months.
