Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

It’s also an actual ride that lends itself well to b-roll footage. FoP looks anything but interesting unless you’re riding it or they made a fake version of the ride for promo footage only (see: original Tower and RnR Coaster commercials)
Rise is also that increasingly rare beast that has so many "toys" that you could show video of all the bells and people would still be surprised by all the whistles that come in between.

For as much as they've shown, it seems there is still yet much to see.

Something seems so incredibly exciting and complete about the semi-outdoors unload from technically a totally different ride vehicle than you boarded at the outset. Really should help upsell this multi-stage journey you go on, without exiting down endless corridors.

I know MiceAge was somewhat confused when they described a ride guests get on and off and on again, but this is clearly the imagineering pitch they heard.

I'll be rope dropping on opening day, anyone else here planning to do that?
That’s my plan at the moment. Trying to figure out how early I should get there. I wish Disney would be more open about their policies for parking lot entry, what times lines will form, etc. Right now I’m thinking of lining up around 6-ish.

..if its anything like park opening, people will be in line at 3-4am. Security let them line up across the street. Not sure where exactly but off property and then came and got them at 4am.

So we're seeing movement on some of the Storm Troopers. Do we know if they all move? There is definitely conflicting information out there. Do they alternate which ones move their heads?

From what you described I am getting Be our Guest slightly moving knight armor vibes.

Under the bridge on the walkway to the Boardwalk hotels was where we all queued up after Disney told everybody they have to leave.

I am debating opening day but I don't wanna get up at 5:30am... lol... wonder how insane it will really be (For the record I've been to the opening of every theme park in Orlando except The Magic Kingdom and Sea World)
