Those store displays are likely not permanent. I’d assume these have pretty short lifespans.
The hypervsn comes with a 12-mo warranty, so I assume it's likely they're meant to last at least that long.

Yeah, I meant that is the pre-loading area, I should have specified that. One thing that isn’t right. You don’t load into the vehicle while in the detention cell. You’re broken out of it then load into it in the next room.
Just to reiterate so people don't get too confused, the blaster effect is similar to these display videos being posted, but it is not the same. The 'blaster' light comes from an external source and is flashed onto the spinning apparatuses. Additionally, these effects will look MUCH better in person. With how video cameras work, and their shutter speeds interacted with the RPM of the spinners, you can see choppiness in the effect. With how your eye works, you will see none of this. Same as people filming a TV screen; it looks horrible when filmed, but perfectly fine in person.
Imagine thatSo what you're saying is, I won't be able to just watch the inevitable YouTube video on Dec 5th and be able to pass full judgment on the ride's effects?
Wow, amazing work, Jack.
Have our insiders corroborated that RotR really will have PotC-level? capacity. That would be some seriously good news.
Ok so hopefully this helps people understand the layout of this ride, I fully explain it in a recent video, but here's a quick overview.

I wanted that dark ride through the Nostromo with aliens popping up eveywhere. That's the main reason I rode GMR.You are withSigourney WeaverFinn aboardthe Nostromoa Star Destroyer!

Do you have an AC unit with a fan in your house? A fan being a spinning device that's only purpose is to spin? I'm assuming it runs basically 24/7/365? Do you have to replace it every 2 months? Again, the only moving part with the blaster effect is a device that spins. Yes it will likely need a repair every now and then, but I don't think it impossible that Disney can reliably make something spin...You think most folks buying these will operate them 16 hours a day, non stop, every day?
Does anybody actually think any more?
The ride looks great, looking forward to this tv show.Thought it may be useful to post the pictures directly here in the thread...instead of having to navigate to a article. Side note: SUPER excited for Imagineering Story!
Rise looks INCREDIBLE!
Going in January, do we think that the extra extra magic hours will be in effect/extended? Couldn’t imagine why they wouldn’t given how big of an attraction Rise is meant to be.
Only during Christmas and after hours Dessert Parties!!!Interesting to see that there might be projection mapped effects on the AT-ATs.
