They seriously need to use these for some sort of night spectacular at Galaxy's Edge - just a single fly by at the end of a show would be worth it - add in a Tie Fighter and have them chase it. Done and done. That alone would cement the land as epic.

...can;t - FAA restrictions, Not zoned/approved for that sort of thing. It CAN be but there's red tape, etc to go through. Plus as we've seen, they're not in a spending mode right now. This is all temporary for a reason, sadly.

Disney received some of the first overflight waivers the FAA gave out a year or two ago. They can legally fly them over crowds if they wanted - they just don't want to spend the $$.

Just do the Star Wars fireworks show they used to do over the Chinese - would instantly be the best thing about the land. Wait, that would require blasting iconic Star Wars music and featuring the most popular characters so that’s out. So we’ll stick with the awkward silence and Dok Ander. Epic indeed.

Much, MUCH bigger than what I was expecting! (especially after looking up videos of something similar on YouTube). Now, if only this could be permanent...
Exactly how everyone else feels about it too. A nightly fly-by with a few passes (attack run on the "stunt stage"?) and some basic fireworks (the ones that don't explode, just sparkle and can be launched close to guests) would probably blow people away.

Why did they build the flying dragon for New Fantasyland opening? Hype.
That's a good point, but at the same time, that was just an ultralight with a dragon prop hanging from it, right? These look far more custom and technologicaly advanced, so I'm sure they cost a whole heck of a lot more to design and build.

And here's a bit of wishful thinking: I know they can't fly drones over guest space, but those two show-buildings are massive and they do span the entire lenght of the land. What I'd like to see are drones that take off from one end of the Falcon building and land on the opposite end of the Alcatraz building. They'd be scaled down versions of Star Wars shuttles, freighters and fighters. Passing behind the spires would give a sense that they are actually big ships that are far away. Honestly, it's the one thing I thought Pandora was lacking- kinetics (they could take the same idea and do banshee drones, but the backdrop isn't quite as wide.) This would help make Black Spire seem like a real bustling spaceport.
Heres my post from 2018, and I think my point still stands. With the way the land is laid out they can fly the entire length without going over any guest space.
