Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Agreed. But the Disneyland-style real drops (plural) instead of the limp-slide "drop" (singular) they have at WDW's Pirates. Your avatar has Disneyland's second shorter drop; both Disneyland drops combined should be the baseline for how physically thrilling the Resistance ride is, nothing less will do.

And I find it utterly fascinating how all the detailed leaks on this ride are coming out of Disneyland instead of WDW.

WDW's version opens two weeks from tomorrow, while Disneyland's doesn't open for two more months. You would think the detailed descriptions would be leaking like a sieve out of WDW, but it's up to the Californians to spill the beans instead.

Funny how that works!

Between a certain idiot going for a less than Wonderous backstage excursion, the finding of how far he actually got in and out of Epcot, and certain sites (this one included but not at the top of the list) posting everything, the Orlando mouse police have been in high gear. Everywhere. I won’t go into details but suffice to say a lot has changed.

BS. The lands make no sense if you haven't read the books or seen the films. Universal does make Potter TMs take an additional class that other TMs do not have to take if they want to work in Potter. Of course, they let anyone work there now, whereas originally you had to be a huge Potter nut, and it shows, which is why you get the same mediocre standard Universal service in WWoHP now, only they yell the word "muggle" at you. Meanwhile nearly every CM in DHS's SWGE has been having lots of fun with it and are all well versed on the story and verbage. I've visited six times since its opened and I continue to be impressed with how many CM's are into it. I'm not saying it'll stay this way, I'm sure down the road it will end up like WWoHP as well.
Only saw one Potter film before seeing Hogsemeade. Not a big fan of them. But both lands are stunning themed environments. And that’s from someone as hyper critical as me. The lands seem to cater to each level from a none fan to a casual one to an Uber fan. You can take or leave as little or as much as you want.

I’ve read the Galaxies Edge bible. It’s as deep and as detailed as any fan would want. I found some of the backstories perhaps too detailed but nonetheless they are there for the taking.

IMHO no single attraction. In no particular order, Orlando TOT and Splash, RSR, Paris PotC, Phantom Manor, Forbidden Journey. American Adventure. I dare say Mystic Manor would make it too.

Honourable mentions to those no longer with us; SSE, Imag 1, Horizons, the concept of the original UoE. Paris’ Space Mountain From the Earth to the Moon. Even World of Motion.

I anticipate Rise will be there too. But there again I got Falcon wrong.

I’d add Indy in there.

Is there anything fun in the Bibles that a) we should know about before they’re changed in two weeks, or b)any great, fun lore that explains away the real world?

How about we start talking about Rise?

@SWGalaxysEdge in that new TV spot it appears the Kylo has some sort of lightsaber effect in the 3rd preshow room...I’m not sure if it’s two shots made to look like the same thing but wanted to ask. If that effect is truly in the 3rd room I don’t think it is a screen. Looks like another AA I could be wrong though. Thoughts?

I'm not sure if this was asked before but besides the transport ship pre-show rotating around, is the floor of the ship the only thing simulating motion (i.e. like Gringotts elevator where the walls are stationary but the floor bounces up/down) or will the whole cabin have movement as well?
I hope it's the latter cause the former bothers me so much. I realize it's a safety thing but c'mon!

..do you mean the saber through the ceiling? Its a practical effect but nowhere as "cool" as the commercial shows you.
They really "enhanced" (aka False Advertising) a lot of the ride for the commercial.

No, not that I’m talking about in the 3rd preshow room

(at the 6 second mark) this isn’t the same effect we have been seeing for ages as that takes place on the actual attraction this one is in the detention cell. Reason I can tell is becuase it’s blurred but you can see Kylo standing on the balcony and the guests are not loaded into fleet transports yet.
