We WISH we had those characters!!! We got stuck with somebody named Vi Something or other, Dok Andar, Savi, Oga, and Hondo!
Hence the nickname “Dollar Store Star Wars Land”.

Disney hadn’t added capacity to ANY park in decades before Pandora and SWL. Well, I guess Little Mermaid, and the second half of Animal Kingdom.

Its awesome to see this thread from how it started way back in April of this year to what it is today 153 pages later! We are on the verge of E-Ticket greatness at Disney's Hollywood Studios! Only a fews short days away we will have the most immersive, technologically advanced, and most down right FUN ride ever conceived in a Disney theme park available to all! Im stoked! Who else is?????? Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance now...and who can forget the 90 years of MIckey-ish fun they are conjuring up next door at the chinese theater?? Its good to be an attractions buff right about now!

Very rare! it's funny they got a pass when DLR SWGE had somewhat a thud, and WDW basically a soft open. If you notice the DLR opening had all the famous celebs: that's $$$... where as WDW was pretty low key corporate, so it was likely planned to go all in now marketing wise.
The x wings were likely a long term idea all from the flying dragon, but it's pretty obvious they didn't think it thru. Heck, folks were flying people 2 yrs ago: , and college kids flying in bath tubs. So the tech isn't new. A long standing show, well, that another level. Should have did a stunttronics show w/lightsabers would have been just as good.
Nonetheless all these stunts are to wow the reporters... after the lackluster summer openings. When you got a $ burning a hole in your pocket, what's to do? (should have spent it on the ride?)
