True, but Rise’s wait time was still on par with other headliner attractions pretty much all day. Even in the same park (Slinky). So regardless of how busy the parks are, there doesn’t seem to be extra demand for this specific attraction like everyone predicted. But it’s only been one day, so we’ll see how things go in the next few weeks.

Well, it’s not new.

True! But everyone was waiting for big 6 hour waits that never happened. I think it’ll end up just like any of the other big attractions in their respective parks
But, again, it's not new. If it was standby only when it first opened, yeah I think it would have gotten 6 hour waits. As is, a lot of folks who would be potentially riding it now have already ridden it - maybe repeatedly already - and likely wouldn't have the wait tolerance were it new and novel.

That being said, I'm curious to see the wait times when international travel returns. Most of those folks never had much of a window to ride. And a Brit on a 2-3 week holiday probably won't care as much waiting in a 3+ our line than the guy from Chicago only going to WDW for 4 days.

And no IAS yet. Give it a couple of weeks. I suspect the lion's share of ROTR's capacity will be allocated to IAS.

Disney can either give ROTR away for free or charge Guests $24 a ride.

What do you think they'll do under Chapek? :greedy::greedy::greedy:
It’s really the only reason to change the line at this point

Bob (the lesser) promised his investors “cash”…and godammit…there will be cash!!!😡

in this case - by trying to force the newbies into spending $20 at 9:30 when it’s likely not needed

September is usually the beginning of Brazilian tourist season if I remember correctly. And maybe free dining? So without those, it's dead.

October brings colombus day and Yom Kippur school breaks and Halloween crowds. We'll see...
First time I’ve ever heard of Yom Kippur referred to as a “driver of wdw travel”?

September is also not “Brazilian tourist season”…it’s British…

and those numbers are always incredibly exaggerated. Most wdw visitors are domestic…every single stinker day

there’s also been little to no “free” dining in about 6 years. That was big shot Bobby’s housing crash hook…and that crash was 8/12/08.

…you may be seeing soon - however - based on the pricing and tactics now employed.

there’s a simple explanation for all this…

A shift in public attitudes and aggressive, egregious pricing tactics may have a bit to do with it as well
Did somebody say egregious pricing tactics?
