Thank you for all the advice. BG 21 for a first timer. Not thank you for the “delays”. WiFi/BT off. Fresh start 7:59:53. Even though app was open at 8:00am I had to tap My Status to get the Join BG button. Got anxious waiting for my party names to populate. But it worked. And now we wait...

Through FastPass. Re-entering Rey preshow now.

Very little movement in 10 or so minutes. Wondering if it’s down but hard to tell in caves.
Oh. My. Goodness. Just got through Rey and it broke down again. Dumping queue.

You have a while to go but hard to say. This is actually the first time it’s gone down while I’ve been in queue so I have no idea how long they’ll make us stick it out before they dump.
On Thursday we sat for about 15 min and then they dumped us. I’m betting they dump you soon. It’s actually good to get dumped since they give you a FP to return which you can skip the caves.

Good to know. We’re going on 20+ minutes. Everyone in line is now sitting on the floor. Would rather get lunch and come back.
It depends on what’s happened. Each stoppage is handled by its merits.
They have an army of CMs with scanners backstage and as you exit they scan your band and you get a “multiple experiences” FP that is good any time until park close.
When you return, you get to use the FP entrance that is right in front.

Exhibit A of why WDW management doesn’t feel the need to worry about sight lines, prices, theming, boarding group hassles, etc.
Sitting back in their chairs laughing and smoking cigars made of rolled up $100 Disney Dollars.
"These rubes are paying full rip to get into a park that has so few things to do, they are waiting 2 1/2 hours to get into a store!!! Hahahahahahaha! Raise prices and make some more popcorn buckets!"
