Besides the Rise Weekday vs Rise Weekends issues, a new trend has seemingly emerged......

So, in conclusion, the first option is your best. I’m no 🧙‍♂️ and the best I can do to counteract the virus of @disneygeek90 magicband in the system is keep this baby up and running on a wing and prayer ( 🎤 woah, we’re halfway there 🎸).🤩🤩🤩

I’m team restart. Meaning I open the app that is completely closed out right at 8. I have not had success with demarke or refresh variant.
On my phone (testing it at home) it takes about 12 seconds to load, tap the "Find Out More" and be at the "Join Boarding Group" button. Is that about what you experience?

I was taking 14 seconds up until the app update 2 days ago and now I’m back to 5 seconds. Make sure yours is updated.

Dang! That’s a shame. Did you go into the queue right when 10 was called this morning?

We had 3 goals today knowing it was going to be a madhouse. Rise, build our lightsabers at 10:30, and use our TSM FP which was from 8:10-9:10 (people we were with have never been to WDW and never ridden TSM).

This morning was rough as we’re on day 5 of non-stop park touring with a late night last night. I was lucky I got all 9 there. Walked over from Beach Club and in the park at about 7:45. Snagged BG10 (demarke). Not wanting to miss TSM, we ran over and used that FP first. Then we walked the entire loop around the park to get to Rise just after 9am...it was down (attempt 1).

We sat aside to strategize. I went over to Savi’s to see if we could check in early and they were very clear that we could not AND that because they were fully booked we couldn’t be late. Hmmm...so if Rise opened we had to make sure we were done by 10:30.

I went back to Rise and decided to get in the BG line that had formed and was waiting in the land’s transition tunnel. Thankfully not only did it start to move around 9:30, they had dumped the queue so we walked right in. Got orders from Rey. Doors opened and the CM told us the ride was down and he’d escort us out (attempt 2).

Now it was around 10am so the group split up. The 3 of us doing Savi’s (with 2 guests) went to do that, while the other 4 just sat at a table. We were done with Savi’s around 10:45 or so, met up with the group, and went back to Rise. Used the FPs, saw the Rey preshow in the right room (note, no BB-8), doors opened, and the SAME CM was standing there to tell us that the ride was broken (attempt 3). LOTS of VERY upset people.

At this point we had been in the park for over 3 hours and the whole group had done one TSM ride and 3 of us built sabers. We had some very tired people in the group and the park was just slammed. No one was interested in just standing around waiting/hoping that it would open again. We cut bait and will hope for another day this week.

Thanks for the play by play. Was wondering how it works with an early BG and 3 failed attempts to ride in ONE DAY! Wish you better luck tomorrow 🤞

But seriously, that is some awful luck. The odds of getting a fleet of people there, snagging an incredibly early group, to then have to sit through 3 evac's must...

That sounds like it was worth the money... not.

I would have complained! Talk about horrible.

Starting to think we’re cursed. First day was Thursday when we got BG11, but we didn’t get to ride until mid-afternoon thanks to numerous downtimes and getting queue evac’d. At this point over two days, we’ve had:
- 4 times walking up and it was closed
- 1 queue evac from the caves
- 2 evacs after Rey and before transport
- 1 successful ride

I, as a theme park and Star Wars nut, am handling it well. The other eight in the party are starting to get to the “not worth it” stage.
