Odd since groups are definitely still available in MDE.

Same thing happened yesterday I believe. But they did go faster yesterday. However it seemed like more people today? I'm so confused.

I don't have as much of a problem with this as I did yesterday, when by 7:30 supposedly guests were out of luck. It's a little better today. Baby steps. But they can still do better. Guests are being toyed with and left confused. I know some folks were on the Boardwalk walkway sitting around 10pm waiting already.

Now you have guests expecting a 6am opening, like today, and then they open at 6:40, when posted opening time is 9. Yikes.

The ride just broke down. We just got called and before we got scanned they cleared the queue and told us to check back in an hour.
CM at the front telling people it’s currently down.
Same here. I was literally getting scanned for group 26 when they stopped the queue.
Ugh... got the boarding call but just as we get to the line to check in the ride goes down. CM says it’s a major issue, not a quick 10-15 minute delay.
I’m sorry. Good luck later.

if you have a family that wants to ride, but one member of the family is a teenager who doesn’t like getting up early, can the rest of the family go early, enter the park and get a boarding group number while the teenager is still asleep at the resort? And then the teenager shows up later with the boarding group number his family got earlier? Or must all members be inside the park to obtain the same boarding pass? I saw on here that you can use the RotR function in the myDisney Experience app to link people together so that only one person needs to get the boarding group number. Just curious as our son lives sleeping in.

Everyone needs to be there in order to join the boarding group

Woke up at 4am, in line by 0430 and got boarding group 12, while on ride it breaks and we are told to come back later and given an extra FastPass for our trouble.

My wife is going to kill me, this is our third day trying and failed first 2 days and now this is cutting into what was supposed to be a rest day from the parks lol.

I’ve had great luck for the most part.

No problems Thursday
1 queue evac & 1 line evac Friday
No problems today

I believe there was a plan to open at 6am today. There were be cheers around 5:58am as if the front of the line was told we are getting ready to open. Ride times started showing up on MDE and then we ended up waiting till 6:40. I think there were issues in the park because both Tower and RnR were showing up at first then disappeared. Tower ended up not opening till later. But this is all just a guess.

All members must be inside to book a boarding group.

Maybe they just shouldn't be opening up at 6/7am? Ride often seems to go down shortly after opening every day. It's not really benefitting the early riser when you think about it, lol. Tough situation all around. Downtime is expected for a ride like this but it has to be frustrating to be there since 4:00am (and you shouldn't have to be forced to be there at 4:00am IMHO) and get an early boarding group and then ... "sorry".

Yikes.

Another bad day for Guest Services lol. But it does seem like they try and handle it the best they can. And better than being in a 10 hour queue and having to leave it. Just feels like a cluster to me ... lol
