I did not mention this yesterday, but with MF the frist time we went on it we crashed. So the cash member said to go to a cast member in the front and say we crashed the MF.I guess they let you go back in line when that happens but we never did that at the time.

What’s hard to wrap your mind around Galaxy’s Edge is the cost to enjoy the land... to participate in the land per individual.

Olga’s will cost $45.00(three drink maximum, minus tip) to participate in ordering/drinking in a Star Wars bar and feeling like a smuggler who just landed and needs to unwind.

Building a droid will cost $100.00
Building a lightsaber will cost $200.00

There is only one free ride open right now... ROTR will change all that and make the land a better experience.

But as of now, to participate in 3 of the 4 main attractions will cost an individual $345.00 to enjoy themselves.

... and yes you can walk into the cantina without getting drinks but who wants to go to a Star Wars bar and not try the drinks... it’s part of the joy/experience.

ROTR can’t open fast enough and it needs to be a real winner... People aren’t flying in for “Only” Star Wars because the land isn’t finished. Doesn’t make since to spend that much and not ride what is being called the “greatest new ride Disney has created”

That’s why we are waiting.

Those things that cost so much money I do not do.I feel the land is very detailed but they do need more to do for those that do not care about the other stuff.I am sure RotR would be great ,and I would love it.

I just feel the land needs a show and maybe another ride ,I feel they do have the space.

It's hard to imagine the demand to build expensive droids and light sabers will last a year or two from now
I’m assuming that’s partially why they opted for lower capacity for those two ; it may be impossible to get into Savi’s now, but eventually one room’s gonna be more than enough. The cantina is where the capacity decisions get mind-boggling, though; a bar is never *not* going to be slammed in a theme park.

Agreed on Savi's.

I think the problem with Oga's is that the Cantina was meant to be part of a larger dining experience - the cancelled/delayed TSR restaurant.

ROTR needs to be the "Go To" ride at Disney. It needs to be amazing, then everything else at Galaxy's edge will fall into place.
Falcon was always a secondary ride and for a secondary ride it is darn good.
Agree, everything thing else in that land is expensive.

The entire land plays off of the main ride that isn't open yet.

Walking around a themed land is only cool for so long.... every land at Disney is themed. Theme Park enthusiasts go for the thrill and the wow factor in rides.... shops and shows are secondary.

So, just did 2 days at DL. It is hardly dead like all the news is reporting. Think of wdw in, say, 2005 normal crowd levels, that's what DL was. Before the craziness of waiting for 3 months to get into sci fi cafe. Some rides were 10 min wait all day, but 20 minutes was the average wait time. Got into sm in 5 minutes at 9am, which was awesome. Millennium Falcon was 45-60 all day, didn't get a chance to ride it. GE is VERY well done. Beautifully immersive, character interactions with my son was awesome. Chewie and a resistance pilot talked to him for 10 minutes about space. DCA was super busy. But we used maxpass all day. Got 11 fp's. In one day. That system works.

Yes, it's noticeable that the entire Resistance side of GE little more than a place to hurry through without RotR open.
Granted, even with RotR open - there will always be less to do at the Resistance side vs the market side - but things will change a lot with people cueing up and exiting off of RotR.
I haven't even seen any images of the crashed ship at the rides exit since the land opened.
I'm sure there are some nice visuals there, and hey... The water feature will be there in the Disneyworld version.

I tend to think that as well, but... stuff like Pirate's League and Bibbity Boppity seem to do just fine despite their costs. So, I think there could very well be a market, perhaps among the "once in a lifetime" folks who want to do everything they can to have the "full" WDW experience.

So I'm seeing online that DL'S is now called a flop, do we need to worry about DHS???? Can't DL fasttrack ROTR and the new parade???

No, you don't need to worry. SWGE will still be the same creative flop in DHS as it is in DL, but it will be swarmed because it's in a park with so few rides and people have multi-day tickets and looking for a reason to go. Saucers/Maters had a 75 minute wait the other day, can you imagine the wait a new real attraction will get?! Let me say that again, SAUCERS HAD A 75 MINUTE WAIT! Still can't process that.
