Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

It would devote too much of the park to one IP. As great an IP as it’s fans may feel it is.
Imo, there must be balance in the Force. So for every Energy closure/non-fitting IP addition (rise of the Dark side), there should be a new Star Wars Land added somewhere at WDW (awakening of the Light side)...you know, just to restore balance.

If they do build another land devoted to Star Wars at WDW, I would imagine it would be in a park other than DHS, as Universal did with their WWoHPs. Otherwise, most of the Star Wars fans would end up visiting DHS exclusively, while all the non Star Wars fans would avoid DHS. Disney wants to maximize the number of parks their guests visit

one of the brilliant things about Pandora is the lack of music in the land in most places. They do play music around Pongu Pongu and Satuli but out in the land you hear animal sounds, really well done
my sense is you ll hear music in the land at least around the market place and food and bev
WDI was using Pandora as a test (to an extent) on BGM. It drew a lot of parallels.
This is what I am hoping they do with SW:GE. If they are going for full on immersion, music better come from a band. Any BGM should be the sounds of the city (eg crowd noise, traffic. etc).
This is what the intent is, kind of a blend of Pandora and Grand Ave. You may hear a few piped in sounds, especially near the ruins. Once you enter the village, a lot more hustle bustle will be heard/piped in. Don't be surprised if some of DJ Rex's sick Jamz or the cantina singer's kewl beats "spill" out of their establishments, providing a sort of BGM aka the stereo on Pongu.

And a follow up to that:

Does Disney already have plans for a second Star Wars planet to be made into a land?

Considering they’re following HP’s footsteps in every turn for this project, I can’t imagine them not having at least thought of a 2nd SWL

If you want more Star Wars then pay to stay for a few days at the Star Wars 360 hotel. They get to upcharge you, you get more immersive activities, and yet it doesn't require the infrastructure of an additional SW land/park.

I am just going to weigh in here so my opinion is on record.

I am perfectly fine wit them converting every square inch of WDW's 40 square miles worth of property to SWL.;)

Not sure I want the entire 40 square miles converted. But I'll take 1,000 of the remaining developable acres for a SWL and a couple of SW hotels.

I'd have Jar-Jar Binks over Nemo. And Kylo Ren can have visited EPCOT as a kid...

That SW taking over FW is no less idiotic than what really happened to EPCOT is just painful.
