Connecting Muppet Courtyard back with Commissary Lane would greatly improve crowd flow. Too many dead ends right now. It's like Disneyland on opening day but with five rides.
Beyond that, what would really help crowd flow is if they bulldozed the SD/Frozen building. Something substantion could go in that space, but really it's just in the way and it serves little purpose going forward.

Also, Commissary Lane will potentially be insanely packed once SWL opens due to how narrow it is.

Looks like they have started the excavation for it, but just like in DL they are using part of that area as a ramp to get equipment down into the pit.

Thanks for the image. I still cannot get over just how big this building is going to be based on DL's construction. I wonder how it will compare in size to the Harry Potter show building in Universal Studios. I remember looking at that during construction and it was huge too.

Want to see a ride building that you would never imagine as being a large as it is? Check this out.

Even more packed once people discover accessibility to food that generally doesn't make you sick and provides you with lots of options to sit in the air conditioning on padded seats.

I think for capacity's sake it would be wise to open them at the same time. Neither DHS nor Disneyland are in a position to shoulder the grand opening by themselves. Not that they will, because that would require foresight.[/QUOTE

Our insiders have already said they will open 6 months apart contrary to any other thoughts or rumors . So that is settled.

Also if they opened at the same time I wouldn't have to torture myself by trying as hard as I can to not watch the ride through on YouTube before it opens here in WDW :p

Rather than posit that DHS's SWL is going to open about six months after DL's SWL due to inexplicable incompetence, perhaps it was planned that way so that the team of imagineers charged with 'finishing' the lands can get one done first and then move onto the other?

Sorry if that doesn't fit into a hate-narrative.

I thought that was the reason given by Disney. It's the same team of designers for both projects so it would make sense that they can't be in 2 places at once.

I would also imagine there is a group of people, while maybe not that big, but who are huge spenders, that are "dedicated" to attending openings. By opening separately you do give those big spenders a chance to attend both. Personally, from a business perspective, I think this is very wise. I think there is more financial benefit to them opening separately. IMO at least.

Photo update as of Saturday, Mar 4. Going vertical in Star Wars Land with above ground rebar (two red circles) where the Streets of America used to be, to the right of the Muppets theater. I've been watching the foundation going in for several weeks, now it's above ground.

In the "in case you missed it" department, those large trees at the end of Pixar Place (seen here in the left center of the below photo) are all containerized. These trees were moved into place shortly after the construction wall was installed last year, to hide the ongoing construction as it rises above the wall.

Again.. I have no idea why it feels like they are building on overdrive.. did they finally deploy the entire ladder family?
