Here's what that looks like on the latest aerial...

It does look like they will be moving the back corner of the perimeter road about a 100 feet towards the canal when all is said and done. It's obviously not a huge change but it will give them a little more wiggle room.

BTW it surprises me that they would make the conscious choice to make Muppet courtyard a dead end.

On another topic......... Has anyone figured out or explained why they fenced off half the entrance lanes?

Why did the falcon building get a little bigger and the Alcatraz building get a little smaller compared to the miceage map?

Methinks Martin isn't simply copying that map.
Good eye, it looks like both buildings are about the same size. Have no idea what it means? But hopefully they are making both rides equally awesome and the Falcon needed a little more room? Any thoughts on where Jedi Training might end up? If they keep it, one hopes it would be inside.

I assume the footprint is smaller on the battle attraction because in DHS, they're going up, not out (to my knowledge). No idea on Falcon, but if I had to guess I'd say there's an added break room or other backstage service area.

Then again, perhaps the MiceChat map is slightly out of proportion and Martin was correcting it, leaving both buildings in both lands the same size.

They are going to need a Second Full service cafeteria with the expanded cast so It wouldn't surprise me. Take 5, which is the main cafeteria for cast in the park is behind Brown derby and is quite a walk to get there from other areas of the park. Backlands currently has Intermission (behind Mama Melrose and Pizza Rizzo (also technically an Icon area(SK33))) but that cafeteria is just vending machines and microwavable food and it's difficult to get to from anywhere but Muppets courtyard.

I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how the Muppets area doesn't seem so out of place with Star Wars going next to it?!? Is Star Tours not going to be connected to Star Wars land? It just seems weird that it's Star Tours, muppets, then wait more Star Wars?!? Can anyone help clarify how and if they are going to make it so Tours and SW Land will be connected if at all?

Even if Star Tours does stay, the front of it really should resemble a spaceport. Endor and half an AT-AT never really did make much sense, even if the original was based off of a trip to the death st... I mean Endor. Would hate to see this attraction go though. It's what got me interested in Star Wars back in the early 90's.

I assume it is correct to assume that the structure seen highlighted in the red boxes in the below images are the same structure? The two NearMap images were taken within a few days of each other. On one hand the two images show how much further ahead the Disneyland project is (though admittedly, a lot of the work on the Disneyland project that is so far along seems to be more related to RoA and not SWL), but for the highlighted component, this element (that some following the Disneyland construction have dubbed "the swimming pool") has structure and walls at DL but only seems to have initial pilings at DHS. Even still, when you compare the two images, it's stunning how much it appears that these will be VERY close to 100% clones as when you line up this one structure, the entrances at DL near Thunder Mountain and in Critter Country line up just about perfectly with what would appear to be where the entrances at DHS will be from TSL and SoA respectively...
