The Pandora's Box ride system. Maybe with an enclosed ride car. I could see some cool possibilities for this. A semi see through windshield/screen on the ride car in rooms with physical sets... imagine the abilty to randomize the video on the screen ala star tours over a physical set... just spit balling, but my point is I'd love to see this ride system in the park, I think they could do some pretty cool things with this...

As cool as this would be, we've already seen official pics from Disney. Not gonna be this.

Aside from what you sit in, I believe so.

That doesn't surprise me and, given what they are trying to emulate with the ride, seems like a reasonable choice. Some things are better represented with screens and simulators and space travel is one of that.

I suspect they are expecting the interactive elements to be the real differentiation of the ride. If the steering and shooting are actually engaging, that's a big upside.

There is still a rumor that it will connect to Critter Country.
That's probably what will happen, so crowds can spread out easier and not get clumped up on the critter country side of the park, while also having an exit instead of just insane amounts of people next to big thunder. That way they will also be able to take people from Fantasyland, and bring them to Critter Country, and the lower left side of the park, and vice versa as well.

If you ask a kid the ride is ancient. If you ask an adult they'll say otherwise.
Disnwy World's space ranger spin severally needs the line to be interactive, and upgraded, and the ride needs tons of money out into it. Also I would hope they keep the mounted blasters as I have been on Disneyland Paris' one, and Men in Black Alien Attack, and can tell you it makes your arm tired, and really hard to aim as well. I like buzz, but I can tell you that my family (grandparents, aunts & uncles) prefer it much more than the kids/teenagers. I wouldn't as much call it a classic, but it certainly isn't far from it, but I think it's more the nostalgic factor of it.
